AAM or not?

I am only in my second week but I was wondering if anyone adds a meal in week 4? Or do most people skip this?

I know its 2 weeks away but I just wanted to get things straight in my head :)

I'm going to see how it goes and then decide!

It's just up to the individual really, you decide what you feel like doing.
I've done exante before and have never done AAM because I feel adding food would just not work for me, I need to stay away from ALL food until I get to goal!
That said, if my weight ever stays the same and I need to shake up my metabolism a little I would do an AAM week.

I'm currently on my aam and it's all going fine. I'm making sure I weigh everything and putting everything into myfitnesspal, i'm just on my 3rd day now. I think as long as you plan everything and can trust yourself to only stick with what's allowed it may be a good thing for your body. Like BB said it could even help you boost your metabolism, obviously I won't know what effect it's had on my weight loss until Tues but fingers crossed I still lose.

I think I would wait and see how you feel, but there are ALOT of delicious looking low calorie meals on the Exante website if you decide to do it!!

I haven't bothered - I have ended up having on average one (ketosis friendly) meal a week anyway what with socialising, and I take berrocca so I figure I can't be missing much!

I think I might have one WS day per week once I've shifted a but of weight. Will make it more manageable!

I think I'm going to wait and see how I feel on that one, it must be quite a hard decision to make if you've made a really good loss and very tempting to skip the add food stage but if that's what they recommend then I'll probably do at least three food days to keep the metabolism ticking over. I suppose it gives you the strength to carry on in the long term if you've got some food down you.

I suppose I'm worried that aam will make me want to eat again. I have had no hunger since I've been in ketosis and I'm not interested in food at all. I've had the odd sniff of things while cooking and the odd tummy rumble but I haven't wanted anything.

This is a first for me. Normally I'd be grumpy and longing for bread or pastry or chocolate.

I know it sounds silly but its almost like I don't want to break the spell, if that makes sense?

I'm exactly the same. I'm in the zone and I want to stay there. I'd be soooo disappointed if I'd interrupted my weight loss for the sake of a teeny keto meal!
