Aberdeen Angus Lean Mince Steak

Hiya! Me again!

I made the cheesy meatballs this evening (which are totally lush by the way!!) and I used a pack on Co-op Lean Aberdeen Angus Minced Steak to make them. I drained all the fat whilst they were cooking so can I take this as free or do i still have to syn it?

Well I wouldn't count it Free on EE and red

Thanks Loop, thats what i was hoping. Ive always counted it as free when the fat is drained but just wanted to double check as last night's dinner seemed to good to be true lol x

If you look in the food directory you are actually meant to syn it because only certain mince products are free BUT that said as long as I use extra lean & drain the fat off I have never counted the syns I have always taken it as free - as long as it doesn't appear to affect your weightloss then I would say go for it.
