Advice please :)

This might sound a little weird, but I just recently started the Cambridge Diet...only on day 3 and my counselor (and a lot that I have read) said that these three days should be the worst..but I feel fine, no headaches, not hungry, not cheated. I'm supposed to have 4 packs because I'm 6ft but last couple of days I've only had the three because I'm just not hungry.

I even went to KFC  yesterday with my friends and just had my water.

I'm getting nervous that I'm going to crash and burn now, like it's going to hit me and I'll be totally unprepared. Or am I overreacting and should just be pleased that its not been difficult so far?

Advice anyone? :)

Thanks

Be very please if you didn't have a high carb diet before you won't struggle to get into ketosis. You do need 4 shakes at 6ft not to fill you up but for the vitamins your body needs
Best of luck with your journey c

Be pleased, the first week is usually the worst so you're doing great xx

The first I did this diet I was the same I fell into kitosis with no problems. As Mamma22 says you MUST have the 4 shakes for the vitamins. You lose the hunger pangs being in kitosis so you won't feel you need 4 but being 6ft you really do. Cutting a pack out can slow your weight loss too xx

It varies a lot - sometimes you just don't struggle to get into ketosis. :D Depends a lot on what you were eating before and how active you are.

By the way - it's not the vitamins you need in that extra pack so much as the extra protein. You're at risk of losing lean muscle mass instead of fat.

Well done on getting this far!

Ok thanks guys, I didn't realise how important it was to have all the packs.
