Been a while since I last many any, but last night i had a supply of mangoes and my ice cream maker bowl in the freezer meaning i ended up making mango sorbet

Mango Sorbet - 4.5 syns

150g fresh mango chopped and pureed (4.5 syns)
2x pots activia mango 0% yog
2 tbsp low fat natural yogurt

Blend all ingredients together and pour into ice cream maker for 15 mins or so

Subscribing to this thread coz these all sound DELISH!!!! :)

bakewell tart ice cream, depending how much your ice cream maker can take, 2 syn free cherry yogs, 1 large pot fat free natural fromage frais, some sweetener to taste, a few drops almond extract/essence and 4 rice tea fingers. whole ice cream 4 syns

Yay finally got a new ice cream maker. I broke my other one!

Summer Fruit

Few ways of doing this one. However...

1 Strawberry muller light (or 2 strawberry shape 0%)
1 raspberry shape 0%
75-100ml fat free natural yogurt
Couple good hand fulls of frozen or fresh berries (straberries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries all work well)

This will do 2 SMALLish portions

Aldi had them on sale when we called so bought one, As we had a lot of strawberries I made lovely strawberry ice cream. So easy!

Quick question - I'm a bit nervous about making ice cream with fromage frais. Can you substitute fat-free natural yoghurt (normal or Greek style) instead of the fromage frais? I don't know if that would work so any advice gratefully received. Thanks.

Way way wayyyy late with with one however. I would, to me fromage frais tastes horrible as an ice cream substitute in my opinion.

Anyway, I did this one as a dessert but I think freezing it would be even nicer

Custard Fool - 4 syns
200g Total 0% yogurt
80g ambrosia light custard (4 syns)
some chopped strawberries and/or nectarine (or substitute for whichever fruit you want)

Thanks
