Am I always going to be fat?

Hi all,
I started CD in Christmas, and since then I have lost a lot of weight, everyone that sees me comment on my weight loss, I have lost 3 top sizes , but I still see myself fat? I know it is in my head, but am I always going to feel like that??

My consultants lost 6st in CD, when I saw the picture I could not believe myself it was the same person but she said to me, she can’t relate to that fat person in the picture, she can’t remember it was her, or how big she was, she asked me if I understand what she is saying!!

I said not really, because I feel fat always, it is the other way around for me, is it ever going to change?

Have u lost 17lb in total? How much have u got to lose? (If you dont mind nme askin?) Its just i have ALOT of weight to lose and when i lost the 3stone with LL i never seen a change myself but everyone else did. I guess people with more to lose it takes longer for you to feel like you are loosing weight. Once you start to feel more confident about your weight you might notice a change. I hope this helps xxx

Hi,

I wondered what kind of day you have been having. Don't lose heart. You have done yourself proud with your losses.

Lots of Cambridgers say they still feel the same for a long time.

In my teens I lost 4 stones but I could not see the difference and felt the same, even though I had bought smaller clothes.

It took a change of environement, where I was indulging in sporting activity i couldn't have done before that I realised I was slim.

Sometimes you need an actual comparative situation to show you the signs.

How do you feel physically though? If you feel lighter or less out of breath, quicker on your feet or more stamina, those are good signs.

You have done so well and the dress sizes dont lie.

hi Tasha I still got a lot to lose, my aim to lose 5 stone in total, I have lost 17lb in 3 weeks, and it is been 2 weeks since my last wi. Iam sure I have lost too because I can feel it.
I wasin slimming world before CD and I only lost 9lb in 6 weeks hehe.

I so hope that my head will change to think positive.

I have started to see loads of difference only after first stone and a half lost so this would be 21lbs. But it all depends as to how much overall you need to lose to get into healthy BMI.

Thanks, Turquoise, I am not going to stop this diet, it is the only one is giving me hope to change my shape at last, I was worried about my attiude to my body imge, I just want to see if others feel the same, and how they change it.

Regarding exercise I started to be active, and you are right I started boxing, and the feeling was amazing but with CD i don't have the energy but once iam in target I want to go back to boxing.

I know I still need to lose but even before at my lowest size, I went to size 12 on calorie controlled diet but I still felt fat.
