Am I doing it right?

    Hello,

    I am new to WW and am doing it alone at home. I just want to make sure I am doing it right as I seem to have lots of points left over!? I have 23 a day. I have planned out mon-fri so far as shopping day on sat! This is what i have planned. (all foods are weighed)

    Mon-

    110g of tinned pears in juice - 0.5
    1 tablespoon of 0% greek yogurt - 0.5

    WW soup 1.5
    bread x 2 - 2
    WW yougurt - 1

    WW quiche - 5.5
    200g potatoes - 2
    salad - 0
    salad dressing - 1

    Meringe nest - 0.5
    tablespoon greek yogurt - 0.5
    Banana = 1.5
    Sugar - 0.5

    = 16points! :confused:

    Pasta 60g dried - 3
    WW sauce - 0.5
    Roasted Veg - 0
    Bread - 1
    Garlic -0
    Flora - 1

    Meringue nest - 0.5
    greek yogurt - 0.5
    banana - 1.5
    sugar - 0.5

    grapes - 1

    16.5 points!! That not many?!

    Am i doing it wrong?! help!!xx

    Hello and welcome to WW. I'm only 2 weeks into it but everything that I learned about the points is that you need to eat all of your daily and weekly points no matter what. Not eating enough points tends to slow or even prevent weight loss. I'm not sure how much you exercise but if you do, you should also be eating those as well. I'm thinking it's not as bad if you don' eat all of your activity points. I factor in my weekly points evenly thru the week to make sure I get them in. I am allowed 22 a day and 35 for the week and I exercise A LOT. Good luck and I hope this helps!
