Am I doing it wrong?

What is it yur typically eating in a day and we can help if we can :)

You are going to have to give us more to work with here - we would need to know what you are eating so try posting a food diary

Also first week losses depend on a lot of different factors including what your diet was like before, if you are exercising, time of the month, how much water you are drinking etc

Don't feel bad about it- it is one week and with a bit more info we will soon get you on track

On a typical day this week I have eaten

Am - Pineapple, banana and a muller light

Lunch - Superspeed soup with some pasta added and maybe more fruit

Dinner - I had meals like chilli with loads of veg in it and some rice or pasta with a veg sauce etc

Syn wise, looking at my book I have used them on some light mayo, light philli, a couple of biscuits, slice of bread, some doritos, options hot choc and some sushi.

i dont usually use my HEXA or B, could this be something to do with it?

I just dont feel like i've done anything to deserve a gain thats all :(

Hun, I've read through some of your previous posts and you've had some ups and downs - wasn't it your birthday a couple of weeks back and the office has been full of treats etc?

To STS for 2 weeks and then gain a pound something has got to be wrong. Whether it's too many syns, not enough free foods, not counting things, not weighing HEX's, something is creeping in.

You said you thought you had a good week - did you? Where you 100% on plan?

Maybe start afresh and post a food diary as the week goes on, write everything down and count all syns.

Not having your HEX's will not make you gain weight but you should have them.
Looking at the food, looks good but maybe introduce a B choice for breakfast?

Thanks Jaylou, I have started keeping a syn diary so I can keep track of what I am using my syns on, perhaps I need to just step it up and write everything down.

I tried to start a food diary but then I would forget to do it for a few days, perhaps I'm not quite as focused as I need to be and not as on plan as I should be.

As I weighed today I should just start afresh from today and really be 100% just makes me feel a bit despondant if that makes sense, I have that oh well i put on I might as well eat that cake attitude which I need to snap out of!

No I do it from home and I wonder if that could be part of the problem too? I did for a while last year and then we had a bereavement and I wasnt at home and I came off plan so gave up going.

I really want to do it this time, it's the heaviest I've ever been and I need to sort my head out, doesnt help that people in my office can eat what they want and they almost try and force cakes down my neck.

I really couldn't do this without both the group support and the "public" WI so to speak. It really helps me.
Maybe worth a try hun - and I completely sympathise with the office workers too!

The only thing I can think of is cutting down on fruit. I know it sounds stupid because they're free but I know when my weight losses started to pleatux my C said I might be eating too much. I, being the all or nothing guy I am, cut it out all together and my losses shot from about 2lb a week to about 4lb a week :)

I disagree. I'd only ever suggest this if nothing else has worked and if you eat lots of it, for the sake of it.
The OP has already said she doesn't think she's been following it 100% so best she tries that first.

I wouldn't want newbies to read this and think cutting down on fruit is a good idea :)

I know how hard it is to get the 1/3 in I couldn't so I do red/green!

I spoke to my c last week bc someone told me you needed to make sure you were having all your hex but she said no it wouldn't effect weight loss just prehaps make you more constipated!! :s which I Spose in turn could affect the scales!

Are you synning things like the chilli if you used Swartz mix that's 6 syns for the whole packet!!

And if you laid all your food out for the entire day would a 1/3 of it be sf?! Xxx
