Hi,
I am starting on CD on wed after seeing my consultant. I am a bit nervous of failing but I think I need to change my thoughts to succeeding. I am on the other hand really excited about losing weight and this is pushing me on. Any tips or hints will be gratefully accepted as I need all the help I can get.
I have tried every diet you can think of in the past with the only real brief success being with Lipotrim. I am hoping that this time I can drop the weight and keep it off.

Good luck, think the really only message is to do your best and stick with it! The first 2-3 days are difficult, but after the muzzy head goes and you're in ketosis the hunger starts to subside and you'll find yourself just 'getting on with it'!

The quick results help to keep the motivation going and give yourself a few easy goals to aim for. I've bought a smaller dress that sits on the wardrobe and IT WILL FIT!! (I can now do it up - now just need to be able to breathe when wearing it lol!!)

Good luck!!! I'm currently on day 8 and honestly don't worry it's really not as hard as you'd imagine and plus it gets easier every day! Are you planning on doing SS or SS+? I don't have many tips as only been doing it just over a week, but here goes...
*Make shakes with icy cold water, they taste so much better
*If you feel hungry in the first couple of days have a glass of water, I've enjoyed sparkling water as a 'treat'. Really make sure you drink plenty of water, it helps with weight loss.
*Add herbs/spices to the soups, I add ground chill and black pepper to all the soups and love them! ( I use different flavoured chill grinders from tesco)

I am going to do SS for now as I am better off not having a choice because then I cant make a wrong one lol.
Well done on getting into that dress Deej75, it wont be long before it is too big for you!!!
Thanks for the tip about the soup violet, I wouldn't have thought of that. I used to warm the chocolate milkshake up on lipotrim in the evening and convince myself it was hot chocolate (well try too lol). I also used to put coffee in a vanilla milkshake and warm it up in the morning sometimes which was quite nice for a change.
Well done on your first week, that is a great loss to start you off on your journey xxx

Welcome Amanda - I'm sure you'll be fine. I totally understand what you mean about SS and not having a choice - it's so much easier.

Do you have much to lose?

I am currently 224lb and would like to get to around 140lb although it sounds like a miracle at the moment. How about you, how's your cd going x

Right here goes,
I started cd on thursday morning weighing 224lb (that's 16 stone in my book lol). I had apple and cinnamon porridge which didn't taste too bad and then veg soup for dinner and chicken and mushroom for tea (yum).
It didn't go to bad but I was dying to cheat so I just went to bed and watched tv, away from the temptation of food.
Day 2 was exhausting, I have never felt so exhausted in my life. I was so fed up I just laid on the bed all day watching tv being miserable. The weird thing is tho I only wanted to eat to get out of the house, ( go for a meal). Actual food wasn't really bothering me, although the smell of everyone else eating mc donald's downstairs made my mouth water lol.
On day 3 now and I am feeling much better than yesterday, even went out to get my youngest sons uniform, at the risk of seeing food..........also I never realised before how much food is on tv!!!!

It's fine, actually - weigh in three is on Tuesday, but i've had to cope with the fact that for whatever reason, I'm not losing weight superfast on this diet (5.25 lbs week 1, 4.75 lbs week 2 - not bad, but pretty low by CD SS standards). It's not why I'm doing CD anyway, really - the speed of weightloss - it's that I can't cheat and I don't feel hungry.

Anyway, this week I've had the bars which has been a revelation. Really filling, and feel like a proper treat! Plus. If I'm feeling peckish I can have a little nibble, then come back to the rest later - which you can't do with the other products because of the 15min rule.

Good luck on your journey's ladies! I'm re-starting today, i'm 303lbs so have loads to loose. Want to get down to about 11stone. Would love a buddy :)

Right here I go again lol. Bit of a flop last time so let's see if I can stick it out this time. Day 2 and so far so good and loving the mango flavour xxxxx
