Hiya, I've been on Slimming World for nearly 3 months now and loving it. But the last couple of weeks I've been feeling really listless and dizzy and can only describe how I'm feeling as anaemic.

Has anybody else had this problem? What foods are good for correcting this? Thanks :)

I thought the same about a week or so ago and went to the docs. He looked at my eyes and asked if I'd had a bad cold or flu 6 weeks ago (I had) and he said it was just mild post-viral syndrom, which he couldn't do anything about and doesn't need bed rest. (I think he thought I was trying to get signed off work - I don't get sick pay so no chance!!)

I did read that if you ARE anaemic you shouldn't self-medicate with Iron tablets, but get checked out by the doctor, which is why I went to get checked.

I have been anaemic before, went to docs and they told me to get some tablets you can get over the counter. I take iron supplements now as I get it every now and then.

I agree that you should not be self-diagnosing - dizziness and tiredness can be caused by a number of things so best to get yourself off to see the doctor. Hope you are feeling better soon.
