    Hi Everyone, hope your all well. Im having a little rant, ive been doing so well this past week, and doing all my walking as I do everyday and ive stepped it up more and am now swimming once a week as well, ive been allowing myself around 5 syns a day, I was out drinking saturday night (I drink once a month), but didnt eat out, didnt pick at anything, and I cant understand why Im not loosing more?!?! The lightest ive ever been is only 6lb lighter than what I am now (which was a few months ago) but I just cant seem to get near it. Ok rant over :) xx

    It may be because you are tall, it is taking a bit longer to come off as you are nearing target? But yeah weight is a funny thing, you can be great and not lose a pound. Maybe eat some more or use some more syns and see how you get on. It will come off so stay positive! xx

    How annoying, I hate it when this happens.

    Have you taken a honest look at what you are eating, is it all free, are you counting the syns correctly, if doing EE are you having 1/3 plate superfree.

    Even when we've been on plan for a long while it's easy to become complacent & not weigh what needs weighing, forget to add syns.

    Otherwise, I'd drink plenty of water & vary your diet. As you know it does work, keep going & you'll soon see the rewards.;)

    I feel your annoyance too today! Eaten awesomely, went to the gym 3 times aswell as my cleaning job which is quite demanding and all I get is a STS. I'm quite close to target too so I'm just putting it down to that and will keep on plugging away. Don't give up chick x

    Thanks ladies, i hear where your coming from, I can honestly honestly say im couting all syns properly, weighing where needs weighing, I drink 3 litres of water a day anyway, have done for around 10 years, I have at least 6 different speed foods a day (mushrooms, chicken, spring onions, broccolli, cucumber, lettuce, peas) and lots of them, I dont syn all day long, there is no need for me too syn, in the evening my only syns are bisto for example on my dinner (2 syns) I have my healthy b option at night, a Choc orange HiFi bar as I dont have b option through the day. Im thinking its my change in food, because its colder im not eating salads at lunch anymore its either a jacket spud with beans, or a chicken and mushroom or tomato and herb pasta packet but i fill it up with chicken, mushrooms onions etc to get my speed foods in, I eat pinapple and strawberries and satsumas, I dont get it :( xx

    Have you guys tried weighing your carbs like rice and pasta? Once I accepted that a portion size is 75g (uncooked) loosing became alot easier. I know it is not the SW way but its one flaw in the plan I think can cause alot of damage.
    Just a thought anyhow.

    Thanks Neonshock, good thinking, I will admit I like a lot of food, so my portions of evening meals are always quite big, but then Ive always done it that way on SW and lost, so I dont know if perhaps im building more muscle from my exercise, so hence weighing more, will give it another good go this week and see what next week weigh in says! Thanks again everyone x

    Pasta and bread always do that to me. I hate any kind of portion control, so I just limit the times per week that I have pasta or bread. I couldn't give them up completely but reducing the amount of times a week helps me.

    Which plan are you following? If EE so many people dont have at least 1/3rd of meal superfree, which is what makes the plan work well...Even if you aren't doing EE they now recommend all plans have 1/3rd which is bound to help.

    Hey hun, can I suggest upping your syns? I had about 7 weeks of 0.5lb losses, then a 1lb gain and I just lost it, went straight to Nandos and didn't make the healthiest choices, didn't count syns. Came home and tucked into donner and chips and cheese pastries, and then had two kind-of sensible days. Then, I started my period, ate loads of doritos with dip and it was my brother's birthday so I had three slices of cake. I'm sure I was naughty again over the course of the week up until WI, but lost 2.5lbs once I got there and was in absolute shock. I dislike the women who sit in group and say 'I'm really surprised I lost 3lbs, I went out for pizza and then my grandsons came over and we had sausage rolls and then I had a bottle of wine with a friend and she slipped me some chocolate biscuits so I really didn't deserve that loss'.. Damn right you didn't deserve it old woman, you say this every week! But I think you should try a couple of off-plan days, or even just one? And then be really good the rest of the week, see if that jolts your losses a bit? Or just try having double the amount of syns you'd usually have in a day if you don't want to have the max 105 per week? Good luck, whatever you decide to do, and fingers crossed for your next WI.

    Hi all, well another bad week for me (although I know i lost last week and I was peed off because it was 0.5lbs) but this week I gained a huge 4.5lbs I think its nearly * week, but thats all up in the air at the moment as ive changed pills, so my body doesnt know where it is at the moment, and then I was away at Brighton for the weekend with my fella, and I didnt eat well at all, but im back on it today, but Im going through a patch of not having many ideas for dinner, so i end up eating pasta or potatoes, im usually quite good with coming up with different stuff, so im going to sit down and write out some different ideas for meals this week and stick to them and see if that helps!xx
