    Having planned to be good and prepared for journey today I woke late and had to get something on the road. Turns out my low fat sarnie was twelve and a half syns!!!! :(. No chance of avoiding syns the rest of the day or tomorrow either. Oh well. You live and learn!

    i suppose you're only a little bit new to this am i right? once u get used to what is synned and wot is not then you'll get more in control x

    if it was wholemeal bread the book says you can deduct 6 syns and use it as a healthy extra

    It was brown malted bread!

    Yes, am fairly new. Feel really confident on red and green days with food I prepare. I went for something which was low fat and calories thinking it would be lowin syns. Don't get how they work out syns :(

    Most of the syns on your sandwich will come from the bread as brown bread is just white bread but with the flour unbleached, so you're talking 5+ syns a slice for that alone. Oh well, live and learn.
