Any April 2015 starters?

My motivation's slipping :( Has been over the past week. Hoping it's just week 3 (where I normally get stuck) and that I'll power through it this time, get to day 30 and see such a difference I'll do another 20 days before refeed and my birthday.

Keep going becca....it'll be so worth it. You've done so well!! x

I've been struggling today, but spent most of the day looking at before and after photos to keep me going and have made it to bed time without eating the pizza in the fridge! Hope everyone has a good day tomorrow.xx

Hi everyone, I have done exante before and had amazing results. I was 14 stone at a size 16 and went to 10st 10 and went to a size 10. I lost it in 4 months with a proper break in between . I then tried for a baby and he is now 6 weeks old. I put on.................4 stone in my pregnancy, oh the shame. I am the biggest and heaviest I have ever been. Started exante on Monday so see how my first week goes. I found this diet easy last year only because working in a school I have 6 weeks holidays in the summer. I didn't show anyone I was on exante only bf, having no distractions was such a brilliant start. If there's a week you know your not socialising etc start exante then as it's such a boost to carry on in the harder weeks.

So I weighed put on little over 4 stone OMG
start weight 15 stone 4 lbs
See what I lose Monday. Good luck everyone.
Never had a site with support last time , this will be even better this time round.

Hey everyone,
Sorry to hear some of you are having a tough time at the moment but stay strong; we can do this!
I am feeling really good currently, and have done since day 4 but I know tough times lie ahead. I've told my OH to remind me about how I feel now when I start saying how hard this is and how if I just have one night off I'll go straight back on it. He and I both know this is rubbish. I've been here before too many times, and it's do or die now. I'm just going to list some amazing things that have happened already so that I can look back at this post when the cravings hit:

1. My nightly aches and pains have gone and I have no stiffness in the morning. I can get out of bed like a normal person!

2. My plantar fasciitis is so much better, after months of feeling like I'm walking on broken glass in my left heel.

3. I've been plagued by hot flushes and night sweats which are more likely related to obesity than menopause. Only had one hot flush yesterday, first thing on waking. Anyone who's had these will know how awful they are - so this is wonderful!

4. The swelling on my feet and ankles has disappeared. I actually have slim ankles again!

5. My mood is incredibly positive and zen like.

6. I actually found myself wanting to move around my classroom more.

7. I weighed myself at the end of day 5, and I have lost 11 1/4 pounds already despite starting my period on the same day.

8. For the first time in ages, life seems exciting and promising instead of feeling like each day is just existing.

All this despite the fact my headteacher is trying to force me to go part time because of my heart condition.
How about we list our reasons for doing this, and the benefits to keep each other going? X

What an ace post becky thank you!!!!

1. im doing this to feel good about myself again...its been a long time since I liked what I see in the mirror.
2. I am a bridesmaid in septemebr and I want to look at the photos and be proud of myself for losing weight and improving myself...I want to look good!!
3. I need to do it for the health benefits... my knees hurt, im unfit and I just feel rubbish!

So im only on day 4 today so im still struggling a bit but...

I feel in control and am very proud of myself for just getting on with it and sticking to it 100%
After a cheeky weigh in im already a fewe pounds down.
I feel healthier.

Becky! What a lovely and positive idea :) I'm the same as you, the fact I will have to start again keeps me focused. Even when I have eaten, I've steered clear of carbs, ketosis is my constant focus before anything else :)

It's great thar you're already noticing health benefits, what better fact to push you along.

1. My blood sugar is stable which helps with my hypoglycaemia. No more feeling miserable, weak or dizzy if I haven't eaten for a while. No more feeling like a prisoner to food.

2. Exactly 1 month today until Ibiza, then a family wedding, then a camb uni June fair meal event thing., you want to look good don't you biz!

3. Ketosis - if I cheat with carbs I go back to the he's hatchet miser first few days and have to suffer all over again.

4. Back at uni in September. How good will it feel to not be overweight in the *****y fashion waif looking environment! I'm proud of my curves and I don't want to be stick thin like a lot of them are, but I think I've got a bit toooooo curvy.

5. Going home and everyone noticing. Been in London so long and only get to see my best mates and family every few months, going home and everyone will comment on the loss.

6. End to yoyoing. been doing this for years, this can finally be the end!

Think that's it for now - ah that's a good start to my Sunday :)

Thanks Becky!! Xx

This is brill Boofaloo. Keep focusing on how quickly all this will happen for you. Yes, it's hard, no doubt about it but hopefully we can all keep focusing on the positives. You're going to look fab at the wedding and you'll notice an improvement in your knees very soon. Xx

You're very welcome Biz!
Some great reasons to stick to this. I went to Uni in London too, and although I only went up to about a size 20 at my heaviest back then, I missed out on lots of aspects of uni life because I felt so fat and unhappy with myself. If you can get this sorted now, you won't fall into the yo yo dieting and bingeing trap I've been in for years! Sounds like you've got tons to look forward to and you're so close to your goal.

Looking back, I think my biggest mistake in the past has been to skip the refeed and just binge madly when I came off other vlcds as I felt deprived. If you can do the refeed and use Exante products occasionally to help you maintain, you'll have cracked it! Stay positive ladies; our dreams are finally within our grasp xx

Yeah Becky that's what I want from exante, reach my target and use my new found appreciation of food, or the lack of actually needing it, to help me maintain. I've yoyoed myself and feel like I've always been on some sort of diet since I was 21. I'd rather be on a maintence healthy eating plan for life and not be overweight than keep dieting and never losing anything in the end.

I've come to uni really late, I'm 29 this year, so I already feel like I don't always fit in as I'm not as young as the rest. I'd like to at least look like one of them and not be the big, fat old one ;) xx

Hello all,

Hope everyone is feeling better this evening, after a tough end of the week for some of us. I made it through though, just about! Official weigh day today and I have lost 2 lbs this week! Not as good as I had hoped but better than yesterday! Also, I had my first real non-scale victory today... fitting into my size 12 high waisted skinny jeans! YAY! They are a wee bit tight but I have resolutely worn them all day to celebrate...

Now I just need to get through to next Monday and I will have done my 30 days challenge... lets see where that gets me!

xx

OH! LESS THAN A STONE TO GOAL! Woooooooo! :D

Hi everyone i have lost another 3lb so thats 14lb in 12days yay go me!!! 16 weeks till holidays and 14 weeks until i start added protein in to my days how much more can i loose??? I'm hoping for another 4stone....heres hoping!!! Hows everyone doing??? Im finding it so easy, altough yesterday was testing i took my daughter to a family fun day and the smell coming from all the food stalls was so nice and then i got her a proper hotdog which she tried to shove in my mouth "mummy have a bite its so good" obviously i declined and said mummy is being very healthy, as i dont want to tell her about not eating to be slim for holidays shes 6 so an impressionable age i think. Anyway after that we went to the pictures i took a bottle of water and my cup flask of black coffee and she had the usual popcorn and sweeties all the time mummy try one of these ect through the whole film and then it was mcdonalds my absolute downfall but i just took in the smells and told myself for now thats all you can have. I made it home for a nice banana shake and went to bed. Woke up all refreshed ready for a morning of swimming and then the circus this afternoon oh the joys of a bank holiday weekend. 14 weeks is nothing out of my life to get healthy and im going to see it through till the end xxx hope everyone else is doing ok this week xx

Well done on your jeans victory Vicky :) xx

And lea, I know how you feel, I've been at my mates house all day in central London, right next to the house is a food market - watching everyone eating Japanese posh hot dogs and Thai food. Oh my god! Xx

Hard isn't it when its right jn front of you? made my daughter a full english this morning and it smelt so good!!! Just debating whether to have a honeycomb shake or a hot chocolate decisions decisions xx

It's when people offer as well! They're only trying to be nice but it's hard enough without someone offering to buy you a hot dog haha. Enjoy your shake :) xx

Hi! I'm starting properly on Sat but low carbing for a couple of days to make it easier at the start.

Am very much enjoying this thread!

How is everyone doing? Day 13 for me and a stone and a half off. People at work are noticing and I'm still feeling great: very happy and positive and full of energy. All aches and pains and hot flushes gone! Amazing! Hang in there everyone. X
