anyone been to turkey?

i'm looking to book for next year never been to turkey.
but my dad raves about it and there does seem more to do there.
has anyone been? where did you go? did you enoy it? anything i should know?

Hello I went I'm 2010 and loved every minute of it very hot in August I went to marmarius. I'd go back again although I didn't enjoy the food and never gained any weight either.. Lol x

i went to antalya last year, it was lovely!
we booked our hotel and flights seperately though, and seemed to be the only english spoken people in our hotel. so i'd look up any hotels online to see what nationality of people it attracts, most of the people in our hotel were from russia and germany.
if i was to go again i'd book a package holiday, the weather was absolutely gorgeous really nice country.

Hi .. Hope you dont mind me commenting. I am from turkey - It is beautiful (but i would say that!) There are so many different places to go depending on what you want. The only thing I would be careful for is if your a woman alone you will probably get hassled a lot!! Hope you have a lovely time.

Been a few times as my parents have bought a holiday apartment there, love it! Going back in august cannot wait to take my slimmer self out there!
