Did an interesting experiment this morning!
I'm completely not calorie obsessed, but I decided to enter my anticipated meals and the walk that I've just done into my fitness pal. My net calorie remaining calories are 696 (and I added in an extra hifi bar that I wasnt going to have to try and lift my intake)!!!!!
I think that I've potentially been massively under-eating. I'm going to do my best to eat some more calorie dense food for a while! x
Another two positives - firstly I found a shorter route to walk, so may now make it a daily walk - 2.7 miles in 36 minutes. And...it looks as though I may be promoted shortly :). x

Hope everyone is ok? Not had chance to get on my laptop so can't quote you all, sorry!

Yesterday I was talking to OH and he said he thinks we should cut out our takeaways completely and only have them once a month at paid day because he says that every week, I lose weight and then we "binge" and I moan that I can't lose this last stone.... He is soooo right, for example we both got paid this week and so we decided last night was our final take away! Wanting to stay on track as much as possible I put it all in my ww tracker.

We had... Wine, crisps, pizza hut and pudding and a whopping 92 points used. Which was all dailies, all weeklies, 3 activities and I have to claw back 14with more exercise.... Was it worth it? Not in the slightest! So now I have OH on side with my target I'm feeling soooo much more positive about actually getting there :)

Just checked out the values in my book and I had over estimated by 10! Just can't find potato skins so probably still over estimated but better than underestimating.

Congrats on promotion woohoo !!
You know on your diary when you write your food is that all you have just the 3 meals or do you have snacks ad well cause I was going to say don't think you eating enough just egg salad ;-) I always add couscous to salad, low carbohydrate but filling, just a thought.

Ooo yay!! Firstly, fingers crossed for a promotion for you hun! Secondly, I need to seriously find a half decent walk I can do daily! Thirdly, I agree on the calorie front, I was under eating by a lot at one point and one lunch time I thought I'd change my usual lunch and had a high calorie greggs sandwich and crisps, the day I had lost 2lb lol very bizzare indeed but it worked!

I have found my stomach is a little tender but that is a good thing! I need to work on that area.

I might try do it tonight but im not feeling too cracking to be honest, could just be tiredness. Im contemplating not going to yoga infact.

I have thought about trying to count my calories. If I dont lose anything this week I may try it.

Positives for today
1. Its Friday!
2. Im going to see my best friend after work and may try steal her baby again.
3. Urrrrrrmmmm can its friday count as two?
 
1st weigh in on simply filling and I gained 1lb :-( hoping its from starting the 30ds 2 days ago as don't think my food has been too bad and snacking less than I did on sw!

Not exactly the result I was hoping for but really enjoyed my food this week so not going to be too disheartened and try another week :) if that doesn't work out can try propoints and if that doesn't suit I know sw works! X

Hun, just so you know, there are only certain brands of crumpets, bagels etc that are actually "free" on simply filling, maybe that's where you went wrong? And also the shred probably didn't help, I did just dance the other night and by the morning had gained 2lb but the had lost 4lb by WI day x
 
hey girls, just back at my hotel after a pretty good day - im out here checking out hotels for a big conference we're hosting later in the year so its pretty cool looking round different venues. All of the hotels have also given us "gifts" so I'll be coming home with a lot of scented candles and hand creams! Food has not bee on plan but I feel good as I've been as good as I can be and havent binged which is what i usually do when im away. I havent had any puddings (we've eaten both lunch and dinner out) and at lunch the lady hosting us was literally obsessed with us having desserts to the point where she just ordered a stack and told us to help ourselves.... it was actually quite annoying as I had to say four times I didnt want any and then when they came she only had a tiny bit whereas I know once I start I cant stop!!

Also, I seriously need to cut my cards up! Have spent way too much shopping but got some fab stuff. There is a gym shop out here called Lulu Lemon - its amazing! Treated myself to new gym tops and some new running leggings. Might have to go again tomorrow as really couldnt decide what to get in the end. Went to victoria secrets too and they had some nice undies and was going to treat myself but ran out of time... also, they are all quite racy - not sure I feel confident to prance about in lime green or hot pink push up bras and pants!!

Anyway, thats me about ready for bed. My jet lag is still quite bad but hopefully will feel better tomorrow.

I don't have any cellulite (think its a genetic thing), but have heard that dry brushing is really effective? I do have stretch marks on my tummy (3 children), and use palmers coco butter - smells so good!

I really need to stop stressing about my weight. Its becoming an obsession! I think it is because I was aiming to hit target before the wedding next weekend (and another wedding the following week!).

It sounds, especially from looking at your diaries Shellie, you aren't eating enough & you know you need to eat to lose weight! Im sure we're all guilty to some extent of doing that. Do you have any snacks in between yours meals....fruit, crisps, choccie? From your calorie deficit its proving you're not eating enough! Plan for the week Shellie.....eat more!
I was reading a thread here in the Off Topic section about a lady on here who got to target but carried on losing & ended up going to her GP who diagnosed depression & an eating disorder.....she was scared of getting 'fat' again & was even weighing things like her superfree she was that obsessed. Really felt for her, but at least she recognised she had a problem & is doing something about it. Not saying you're like that Shellie at all, but it does go to show where it can lead to.....scary stuff! xxx

Dont worry Deb, it could be water retention from the Shred & Im sure if you go back to basics next week you may surprise yourself & start losing. Its always good to refocus every now & then.

Well good on your OH coz he's right! You do so well & then have a blow out & it goes back on again! But sometimes thats what it takes for things to sink in........you should maybe start a challenge for yourself of how many days you do with no naughty food! x

It could easily be that or just simply the change in diet & eating more bread products! Give it another few weeks for your body to settle down & then see which you prefer! x

Yeh thanks most crumpets are free but just ww branded for the other bread products which is what I had been using.

Aching today so day off the shred to recover me thinks! Really looking forward to my dinner tonight so not too disheartened by the gain as I'm really enjoying the food :-D x
 
I'm definitely doing a challenge now, I think the next naughty food might be when I go to Birmingham on bank holiday weekend but it will be at least the end of may until I have another takeaway and then I'm prepared to make better choices now I have my eating out book, I was reading through it and there are some really good choices. I'm cutting the crisps out again as they were 20pp!!! That's like 3 ww oval pizzas I could have had! Xx

Well, its Friday & didnt WI today! Felt a bit odd, but feeling better for not obsessing. I do feel slimmer this week funny enough, so maybe its the Green days & DH was commenting yesterday..."you dont need to lose any more weight" ......Um, yes I do, another bloomin stone Mr! Am carrying on with them til next week & enjoying thinking up different menu's. x

1. Ordered a load of new clothes from ebay in a nice smaller size, after 4 weeks items hadnt arrived and no response from seller so opened a case...........ebay refunded all my money.
2. I left negative feeback for the seller and they sent me an email asking me to revise the feedback and if i did they would send me all the clothes I originally ordered, for free by next day recorded delivery :-D

FREE CLOTHES!!!!

Thanks Kim! I tend to eat a lot more at the weekend (bigger portions), but during the week is a real struggle for me. I've actually shocked myself this morning, so will be making a real effort now. Almost certainly is the reason why I get so tired by the end of the week.
I'm a bit of an all or nothing person - I need to learn some self-moderation! x
