Hi

Yep i am 9st 7lb and would love to get down to 9 if not a little less. I was originally 12st on weight watchers and did lose the weight and managed to keep all but 7lbs off. However i have got bored with WW and needed a change to kick start me again and this seems to be working, Hers to a flatter tummy and 9 stone

Welcome. Are you doing sw now? Am sure it will come off as you sound determined x

I am the same on both counts. I have degree too and was looking into distant learning etc but it cost 2000 pound which I don't have. Not enjoying my job or my salary but hey Ho we have our health.
I got down to 8st 3lb very quickly for me. Wasn't even doing sw properly, just eating three meals per day. I was very stressed at work but not so much outwith work and I was amazed too. Going from doing sw to not doing it and losing more than I had done over course of a week before. I swear it was the lemons ;)
I kept weighing myself and it stayed the same so I accepted it....got cocky and put it all back on...lesson learned lol

Debs you can get funding if your income is under a certain amount. I got full funding last year cos the household income was under 19000. Also this year they have started doing student loans for part time courses and you don't start paying them back for 4 years after you finish and until u earn more than 21000 a year

Oh that's interesting. I really should have did something with my degree..It's probably out of date now but it was business and management honours degree when I am kicking myself now that it wasn't more specialised. Oh hindsight and age have a lot to answer for but I may well look into that....thanks very much for the heads up, appreciate it x

2.75lb lost this week. WI at 9st 13.25 x

Thanks guys, having fun so far and although I've been off plan food hasn't been too mental. Thursday night was salad with salmon, but I did have some pasta (part of a ready made pack with bolognaise and cheese) and two small sliced of pizza, then yesterday had fruit for breakfast with bacon and eggs for brunch (I tried not to eat the fat on the bacon as I don't like it anyway and the eggs were cooked in a little olive oil) lunch was mussel salad and I had a couple of olives and a chicken leg...again tried not to eat the skin but might have had a little. We went out for tea and I had a gorgeous chicken skewer with piri piri dip, salad and a jacket potato followed by lots of cake....as my boyfriends brothers birthday was a few weeks ago (but he was in America for it working on a Disney cruise ship)

My boyfriend and his mum have just popped out to sort the car out as we have a couple of bulbs which have gone. Had a manicure yesterday morning as well, was lovely. Could get used to that treatment hehe. Told my boyfriend I could have one every few weeks and he said when I get a job he wouldn't mind (didn't expect that reaction to be honet.... although to be fair I wouldn't pay salon prices anyway as my sisters sister in law does them cheap and she's been trained properly and does a hand massage with them as well.)

Not sure what we're doing today or tomorrow, so far the weather today has been a bit rubbish, think we might pop to Norwich to have a nose around the shops and no idea on tomorrow. Then Monday is Butlins and I can see the food going completely mental. But ahhh well. As long as I enjoy it all.

Good luck wit the work out Deb, swapping the workouts each day sounds like a good idea, I meant to do that but keep putting it off. Will have to see if I can motive myself in September (a big gain might do the job for me lol)

Oh and hospital appointment went well, they still don't seem to be worried. They don't think the cyst is whats causing my pains, but because it hadn't changed they want to just still keep an eye on it so I have to go back for another scan in a few months and then back for a consultant appointment. Which is a pain as the hospital is completely out of my way and I'm going to have to drive there myself and to be honest I'm not really sure how to get to this one :/ but I'm sure I'll work it out. They saw to me 15 minutes early so I'm impressed with that, the two hospitals I know how to get to one of them doesn't have that department and the other one you're always looking at quite a long wait after your appointment time, being seen early is unheard of. AND the nurse told me they were busy that day as well. They think the pains might be a kidney problem or a food allergy, but as they're not frequent and not as bad as they were before again they're not worried.

Just enjoy your holiday Donna & stop worrying about the food! You can get the gain off when you get back if you have any! xx

Ladies I'm nearly pushing up into the 11s I seriously don't understand it and could totally cry. I promised my self last time I got into the 9s I would never see a 10 again and now I'm close to seeing an 11. It's not even like I'm bad. This week me and the oh haven't eaten any meat or pasta or anything bad and I've out on. I really don't know what to do :-(

Sweetie, you post just made me cry :-( I'm not sure why. I think it's because I can relate to your saying BUT the thing to remember is, the 9's have been there, the 10's are a blip and then motivation comes back in the 11's...... Xxxx

Would it help if you went back to class? Not sure what else to suggest if you're following SW to the letter. Is there any other reason it could be ??? Xx

Such a shame vic why don't you post food diaries here and we can see if we can suggest anything?

If you havnt had any meat or pasta have you been eating enough?? X

This is what we had this week:
Every day I have been having a vitality yoghurt and fruit for breakfast then superspeed soup and scan bran for dinner.

For teas I had
Monday: cod in parsley sauce (homemade) with mash and lots of veg
Tuesday: swimming lasagne made with quorn mince and sw wedges and veg
Wednesday: tuna steak with new potatoes and veg
Thursday: homemade Chinese chicken and sweetcorn soup
Friday: we went to an all you can eat Indian but I was sensible
Saturday: quorn sausages, swimming chips and beans
Today I'll be having swimming Sunday roast.

I've slacked a bit on the exercise but it's cos my shoulder hurts so much. Think I have zumbaed twice and walked to work.

I just don't no what else to do. Think I'm gonna try a red week as they normally help but they cost so much!

There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with your daily meals Vicky, so as you say why not try some red days. You can make them less expensive by buying cheaper meats, or being inventive eg.......3 chickens for £10 in Tesco could make about 12+ meals & once you've cooked them, boil up the carcass to make a soup. Mince is fairly cheap & if you bulk it up with a load of veg, can make lots of meals like curry, stews etc.You can also have Quorn mince on a red day as well which is even lower in fat than meat.
Im a real bargain hunter when I shop & always looking out for deals & they are out there. I also bulk cook which is cheaper, freeze it & less stress with cooking as well.
So, why not try cutting out the carbs for a bit & see what happens. Dont stress about the exercise if you have shoulder problems, as you might be putting too much pressure on yourself which doesn't help. xx

Yer I might. I'm gonna have to do summat cos it's really getting me down. I've got 2 bags of quorn mince in freezer so can use that for 2 meals this week cos there's only me n oh this week. I'm gonna get some tuna steak again. I got frozen tuna this week and it was really nice but less than half price. Then might buy loads of frozen veg. I used to get the steam bags but we don't have a microwave so no use really.

I've also downloaded the insanity workout which me and the other half are going to try start tomorrow. Hopefully my shoulder won't get in the way of it so will see.

Why dont you start posting your daily diary on here, every morsal that enters your mouth & we can check it with you. Seems odd with that food diary that you're not losing even without the exercise! You've done it before on SW, so there's no other reason that you wont this time.......Im flummexed!....is that a word lol!
Start at the very beginning, write everything down here, drink plenty but not too much!,have lots of SF, have 5-15 syns per day, weigh weekly & try not to stress too much! Why dont you WI tomorrow morning & we can go from there. We will get you losing again! xx

Thanks Kim that's really helped me. I will post everything that enters my mouth!!!

If weather is nice tomorrow me n oh r going to take dogs out for a BIG walk. What's everyone's plans x
