It's a big lifestyle change, I know it definitely was for me. It's all about learning to make healthier choices in the long term and in my experience this is something that came with time (I've been following SW for a year and a half and only recently has healthy eating become second nature to me) and right now you're at the beginning of making else changes. It's like breaking a habit of a lifetime! How long have you been following SW?
For me, the feeling of seeing a loss on the scales and a difference in the mirror was the biggest motivator of all - perhaps start making a photo diary to remind you of the good things that happen when you make the right choices?
Running wise, I ran for around 15 mins a day for a while last year and didn't really notice a difference at all. However this time round, running for around 30 mins a day (3 times a week to begin with but 5 times a week currently), I'd say it took a couple of weeks to notice my thighs had slimmed down but most importantly that my endurance and general fitness had vastly improved. A couple of colleagues of mine are raving about a book called 'run fat b*tch run' which is about finding the motivation to run for weight loss and fitness - though I haven't read it myself.
Most importantly, keep your chin up and realise your achievements in weight loss already. There's always tomorrow to keep tryingxx
That's such good advice Charlie. I'm desperate to join u girls in the nines and I'd never thought of it like that. All about lifestyle choice. Thank u!!! Xxx
