Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

Yay! Hello icklerockchick!

WI for me tonight - I've prepared myself for a gain, my scales said 1lb on, which I could live with x

Thanks ladies :) need to stay on track don't want to see the 10stones again now that I've had a glimpse of the 9s. All your exercise sounds fab I can't wait til I can exercise again, ankles still dodgy from a bad break so working on walking properly without crutches before I can get back into anything more high impact! X

Ickle, when I first came down to the 9s, it went to my head a bit and I ate everything! Don't let it happen, it was horrible to see the 10s again!!

I gained 1.5, which is what I expected. Written a food plan for the week and will be losing at least 4lbs next week!

PS: still in the 9s, so not panicking :)

Considering your colossal loss last week, 1.5lbs gain seems teeny! Good idea about the food plan :)

I find I stick to plan so much more if I'm prepared! I was always expecting to not lose as much this week, a bit like the infamous 'second week' that most people suffer when first starting :)

Losing 4lbs would get me down to 9st 7 exactly x

I sts this week which was really pleased about, i went over 35 syns in the week and honestly thought i would gain, glad i didnt. Now i can start a fresh and be good. I find that if i have a good weekend then i am even better that week. I must admit though slimming world is the only dieting that I find realistic and works, also noticing that my skirt seems loose too, which is a lovely feeling.

Good result then :) and congratulations on the loose skirt!

Charlie, I usually have major problems with SW chips, but last night I followed your recipe on your food diary and they were perfect! They were amazing, better than oven chips!!!

I changed the way I do SW wedges and they are much nicer now. Instead of being wedge shaped they're more like half fritters and cos all a similar thickness no crispy edges and taste like chips!! :D

Really? That's ace! Glad it works for you :) x

Pah......1.5lbs is nothing & you had a reason for it with MIL's lovely cooking. After your fab loss last week, thats still 5.5lbs in 2 weeks, so well done :)

*ahem* 6lbs ;)

Thank you though hun, that's what my consultant said :)

I will definitely be shifting some weight this week x

Definitely agree with Kim on that one! 6lbs in a fortnight is very good going!

Oopsie sorry, my bad, that half a pound is very important! X

So.. Meal out for step-dads 50th birthday and was fully intent on having Five Bean Chilli for 4.5 syns. Got the 'you don't have to be good all the time' speech - wish I hadn't listened to them!

I had steak (no fat), chips (maybe about 10, not many - less than 200g), peas and about 8 onion rings :S I tried half a southern fried chicken strip thing and had 2 small chicken wings, but they were super spicy. Oh, and I had a funsize dairy milk (4) and funsize curly wurly (3.5 I think) once I got home, cause I was having a "what's the point" moment..

Right now I'm feeling HIDEOUS - why do I do this everytime? My only saving grace is that I had allowed myself 5 syns a day this week, so I definitely won't have gone over. Got 6 days left til WI.

I hate it when I hear that - it really frustrates me! It makes me want I choose the healthy option just to spite them! Tip next time - swap the chips for a jacket to make it syn free (without the onion rings), I do it every time we eat out and have steak/gammon etc.

I'm going out on sat night and wasn't intending on drinking but got 'the speech'. Have decided to have a few - but I'm not going over my syns and they'll just have to put up with it! At the end of the day, it's our choice what we eat - whatever that choice may be! X

Thanks for the tip. It annoys me when people tell me I don't need to lose weight as well. My last stone is just as important to me as 10st is to someone who is trying to lose 10!! Next time, I won't be so easily swayed!

Enjoy your drinks, just be careful! Would be so easy for me to go over once they start flowing!! X
