Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

Maybe that's a good idea! Seen some lovely recipes for soups and stews though, as well as bolognaise and chilli con carne :)

With the replies, try not to write inside the quote tags; you could either reply completely underneath the post or start a new set of quote tags for each bit you want to refer to :) x

I thought I had....durr!!! Lets see if Ive done it right now!!!!

That sounds amazing! How do you make the dumplings? And how many syns are they? I dread to think how high normal ones are!!

From memory it's cottage cheese eggs and instant mash x

Now I have to admit, they don't sound very nice :jelous: but I'm willing to give it a go :)

It still directs to the right place :)

Did you access the page through google? That might be why x

Oops the post I said to Charlie has disappeared!
All I said was.....be careful not to that sort of training everyday as you need to rest your muscles, but well done as its a fantastic exercise & will really strengthen the muscle...its all about the slow & fast twitch muscles I think....will have to check with DH as he's a fab runner if you need any advice x

Ah ok, tomorrow I will just do a constant jog for maybe a bit longer than I usually would run for - perhaps around 40 mins rather than pushing myself for speed. That sound like right? I might start alternating speed days with endurance days or something - I'll google some treadmill workouts later :) and some advice from your DH would be very welcome - though I only have 30-45 mins in the morning to run. Thanks hun! X

Right Im off to walk Charlie to see if it will get rid of my horrible water retention I have this month, my fingers are like fat sausages even with the herbal water tablets. No cycling for the time being, as my neck is giving me jip & need to get permission off the physio I think! I haven't got my MRI til the end of April grrrr
& cant go back to work until the Consultant has seen it in case something else is going on........have a horrible suspicion there is as have been in pain since they did the second op....oh woo is me lol!

I hope you mean you're walking your dog Charlie and not me - I know nothing about this!

Stay positive Kim :) x

If you google 'interval' training it should give you an idea, but I'll ask Dug later when we chat on the phone.
When he used to take me interval training, we would jog for about 2 miles to warm up, find a nice flat area & sprint between 2 points about 100m apart, rest & do it again about 8-10 times & then jog back.....hard work.
Dug's just rung & he says basically interval training is basically jogging, sprinting, jogging, sprinting or flat, hill, flat, hill. So, you could easily do that on the treadmill, just give yourself alloted times/distance for each evolution. Hope that makes sense, just do whats best for you x

Haha.....no this is Charlie! :doggy:
