Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

My mum was doing slimming world. She managed 5 weeks then just gave up. I think you need to want to diet for it to work. If you arnt bothered then you wont put your heart into it. I have grown up watch my mum try every diet in the sun and she has never lost more than a stone. I actually did weight watchers with her and gave up when she did. Luckily this time I joined with a friend and started my journey without her. She has tried to talk me off plan a lot but I dont let her and now I am near enough at target. I also think that once you get past a certain point you fully believe in the plan so get into it more.
 
Oh crikes, it's only 11.30 and I've had BOTH hexb's!!

I have a pork salad for lunch and in having the pizza chicken tonight. Just feelig hungry and have no red day free food at work!
 
Im going to have a Green day today & make a spicy tomato sauce with lots of SF & wholemeal spagetti & CHEESE! So Charlie walk first, then a bike ride, then a bit of shopping. Its a lovely day, so Im going to walk to our local Morissons with my Hoppa (bright purple, well trendy & I get loads of comments from people about it!) x
 
Think you hit the nail on the head there Annie, by saying " her heart isnt in it either". Any form of 'diet' or 'healthy living plan' needs 100% commitment & if your head isnt in it, you wont lose weight, as you will always make an excuse for putting that pizza in your mouth! There is nothing wrong if we decide to have a flexi day/off plan day, its getting straight back to it the next day or one day will turn into one week etc......been there done it lol!
The hard part starts when you get to target & staying there, as it is so easy to relax & then the bad habits creep back in again! x

She didn't stay to group last week, so I wouldn't be surprised if its not much longer before I start having to go on my own x

I have a pork salad for lunch and in having the pizza chicken tonight. Just feelig hungry and have no red day free food at work!

Cant you snack on fruit, have your lunch early, nibble on some cheese.
I find if I've been off plan, it takes a while for my tummy to shrink back again, so Im sure you will be less hungry in a few days x

I have 3 days red now because I always have a red day the day before WI so that's tomorrow and WI night (Wednesday) is BBQ so need both HEXB.

I had pasta last night, cooked 5.5oz and I had some OH had most and then put the rest in the fridge and y goodness my belly expanding like a balloon and hurt so much. I love pasta but this is becoming more of a regular occurrence.

I'm having a red day today. Ive gone over on the syns for last 2 days so really can be overdoing it today. I had 20 odd on sat and then 17 yesterday x

You can have some of my syns :) I'm really liking red, but I find I have to be a lot more prepared for it.

Definitely have to be more prepared. It's so easy on EE to grab and go but I feel like my lunch isn't going to satisfy me today :-(

Oooo I have just remembered I have grapefruits in the fridge! Had a can of diet coke to try an keep the hunger bay until 1pm!

That's what my nan thinks it may be too. I am trying different things as usually it is bread and pasta that do it. Never any other carbs like potato. I've had bread this morning and definitely feel more bloated than when I woke :-(

What on earth is a hoppa? Ive got visions of you going to morrisons on a kids space hopper thing?! X
 
I'm having some of the chicken from last night in a sandwich with salad, a bag of Skips and a funsize Curly Wurly :)

For dinner I am cooking penne bolognaise - but I'm not sure 35g pasta is going to be enough! And it's going to be weird having wholewheat! I'm looking forward to trying it though :)

Last night I did 140g pasta... OH had way over half, I had a good 4tbsp and there's at least 4tbsp left. So 35g might be ok hun. Xx
