It's the red velvet one, will post in a bit when I'm at my laptop :) x

Thanks chica x

Definitely going to check those out! My brownies are only 1.5 syns each but are tiny! :(

I made those last week, done in the oven, but think I boobed! I thought when it said 5 scan bran it meant the whole slice thats sort of stuck together, so used 10 in total & they filled a whole muffin case! Doesnt really matter in the scheme of things as they are low syn 7 Hex's are used with scan bran....but a lesson learnt! x

I've gained 2.5 could actually cry.

Don't cry :( think bout the reasons why you could have gained - were you 100%? Did you go over your syns? Are you bloated, time of the month, too much exercise? There could be several reasons, but you just need to make a meal plan for the next week and get straight back on it :) If anything you could use it as motivation to be 100% next week! Xx

Red velvet brownies
80g beer root (cooked but not the pickled sort!)
5tbsp sweetener
3tbsp cocoa powder (4.5 syns for green&blacks)
5 x whole grain Ryvita (7.5, 5 if using scan bran)
2 eggs

Pour hot water over the Ryvita/scan bran and mash
Blend the other ingredients in a blender and then blend in the Ryvita/scan bran mash
Pour into microwaveable dish (I used a silicon mini muffin tray)
Microwave on high for 8 mins

Then divide total syns by how many slices/cakes it makes. Mine worked out at just under 1.3 per cake so I rounded to 1.5 for one and 2.5 for two to be safe.

Tip: make sure it is puréed properly otherwise you get lovely chunks of beet root in your brownie!

Thanks. I'm in a right mood lol. I've been good this week bar a couple of blips. I am ovulating tho and i'm sure that last time I was ovulating I gained so might be that. looks like i'm going back to the 10s thread tho :-(

You can stay here! We won't kick you out, besides - you could be back here sooner than you think! That pattern might be right - could explain the gain. Xx

Hugs hun. Keep smiling. Things will even out, like Charlie said cold be TOTM or anything. Any patterns you've chained with your eating habits?

Oh Vic, try not to worry too much, as you said you had a couple of blips and TOTM never helps, i know i always gain around then. Get right back on that horse and you could still be able to shift 9.5lbs to reach our challenge target =)

Vicky, don't go back up, stay here - you already think you know why you've gained and let that spur you on to have an amazing loss next week. We're all here to support you x

Beetroot - are you for real? Is the beetroot in there to make them red? Cause I'm really not that fussed about them being red :giggle:

No lol, they're pretty much chocolate coloured! It's to bulk out the mixture and give it texture. You can't actually taste it! X

Ok, be warned: this woman is hardly a natural in front of the camera.

Chocolate & Strawberry CupCakes *Slimming World* - YouTube

I worked out that the cupcakes alone are 2.5 syns and that the chocolate philly (2 x 30g softened together and spread on top of all 8) makes them 3.5 syns each. Of course there are syn free ways of topping them, but meh - if you're gonna have a cupcake, no point in trying to be healthy with it.

I tried making them first of all without vanilla essence (I didn't have any) and using Highlights instead of cocoa powder. I didn't put a topping on either. They were pleasant enough, but they were nothing special.

I didn't use strawberry essence in the second batch - Tesco didn't have it - so I used vanilla instead (but they were frigging amazing) and the biggest tip is to use actual cocoa powder (I used the Tesco reduced fat one) as Highlights just doesn't cut it.

The second batch were amazinggg! :D I insist you all try them x

Hmm. Is there anything else that might give them texture which isn't so... beetroot-y?

:'-( feeling super poorly. Had my 3rd 100% day.... Well I say 100% went over my syns each day but not by much. Got to cut down on the sweet stuff or at least attempt some of these cakes!

Never in my life have I had a headache like this, my whole head, nose and eyes are throbbing. OH thinks it's a migraine but I've never had one so don't know what it feels like :-(

Oh hun :( When I have one of those, the only thing that gets rid of it is sleep - might be worth coming off of here for a while.

Hope you feel better soon xoxo
