Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

So ladies... OH has agreed to go for a run tonight!!! What have I let myself in for!

Need an arm band for my iPhone though... Any ideas where I can get a cheap one?

Just ordered an armband, headphones, USB cable, bumper case and screen protectors off wowcher for £10.71!!! Bargain!!

Rather excited on the running. If I enjoy it I might put the gym on hold and save some pennies!

Thats really good. I think I am going to look into running. I have dug my trainers out this morning. Might try go for one tonight and see how I feel.

Yeh but not on road. I've been training at the gym in the treadmill for race for life and can do my 5k in 36 mins so need to practice more and road running. I love it but my gym is 25 mind away and so I have to wake up super early to get there for 6.30! X

You will probably notice a difference then running on the road as there's a higher impact on the joints, so watch your 'dodgy hips'! Cant say I would like to get up that early for a gym session either! how's your poorly head this morning? x

I have some proper running trainers with the tubular sole so that may help. When I was born I had to wear a plastic nappy for months as my legs weren't long enough :-( and they do hurt occasionally.

Heads feeling quite a lot better thanks, but I think your right on the dehydration front, I haven't even had a drink yet today and Ican feel it coming back! I find it so hard to remember to have a drink.

Tuttut, you need to drink for general health, naughty girl! I couldn't function without 2 coffees at the start of the day! Just have a bottle of water with some NAS squash if you dont like plain water & sip during the day x

I drink quite a lot of squash when I'm at home. But just not during the day. I have a can of Pepsi now and some turkey with ketchup... Exciting :-/

I've got leftover meat from last night for lunch today - yum :) (Saving my packed lunch for football tonight!)

Hope you're all having a good day - me no likey the new website on my phone. It's going to take some getting used to.
 
Really want to do red days for the rest of the week but spinach and chicken curry is on the menu - not too fussed about losing the rice, but what can I do instead? Have it on boiled/jacket potatoes? X

Ooo on a jacket potato sounds yummy! Or try the cauliflower rice? X
 
Charlie, what is 230g of potato when it's cooked? Can you be sure that it will only weigh that amount for the HEB?

Why not have some roasted veg with it....BNS, carrots, onion, mushrooms, peppers, courgettes x

Sorry, what I meant was, how much does 230g (that's what it says in my book) raw potato weigh once its cooked? Or do you have a raw potato there with you? Maybe I misunderstood what you first meant.. I thought you meant you were eating what the school had made for lunch lol
 
Ooh just logged on again now as my iphone app isn't working and the wireless for my laptop wouldn't work out in the garden the new site is pretty!

Not sure how this week is going to go - despite it being scorching I am absolutely loaded with the cold the past few days. Can't taste anything so not been eating as much as usual, also at my OH dad's house dogsitting for a few days so just been eating what I can and not really using my HEBs or counting syns properly. Havn't been eating total junk though just lots of fruit juice (I crave it when I'm ill) and some other high syn stuff like ready made soup. However it's been low calories despite not being entirely sw friendly so curious to see what happens at weigh in. Tried myfitnesspal app for the first time and it says I have been around or under my recommended 1200 calories a day so hoping I won't get a gain despite not being really on SW for a few days!

Wish this weather would last forever it makes being off work injured far more enjoyable!! :D x
