I was planning on staying syn free today but had 1 syn on meat free meatballs and will be having some wine later as my boyfriends mum opened a bottle and has only had one glass, so me and boyfriend are going to finish it. I suppose at least I'm within my daily syns. Hopefully the food at the hotel tomorrow won't be too bad and then I'll only have one day off plan this week, if not 2 days isn't too bad is it? I don't normally have off plan days, just had a very eventful few weeks

JUst got books out again and can see I can have ryvita and phily light as heb on green day but that means I couldn't have the alpen lights. Wonder why philly can't be healthy Extra a along with the other cheeses

I agree with Kim, its not often you Prob get chance of few days break with oh without little one (we never ever get out) so please enjoy it without worrying. Sounds bliss

Basically they're doing it in relay. One rides for 4 hours whilst other resting/sleeping & then the other takes over & so on. That should take approx 72 hours from Lands End to John O'Grotes approx 1000 miles! We have 2 motorhomes with 3 support crew in each & we each look after our own rider. Oh my gosh his back looks sooo sore!

Ladies, just a quick question, how do you find exercise affects your losses? I see that you all try to do a certain amount of exercise but do you think it helps? Have you noticed a difference in your shape? Any changes or differences that you feel it's made please let me know :)

Aw thanks Deb. Yep we are a good team together as we're almost the same person we know each other that well!
About the phili, you can have 75g as a HexA, so you can still have your ryvitas & alpen bars x

Joined the ladies and started doing sw properly and started excercising. Slowly some pounds are coming off but the important thing for me is I feel better and I see areas that have changed. Arms, tummy and love handles.
In fact writing this has reminded me how much I enjoy doing my workout, feel so tight afterwards that I need get back into it. Not did it since Tuesday and not been on plan but goal is to take whatever scales say on Tuesday, wi day, and get refocused.
Do you excercise much? I should do more but It's what I can manage. X

I never exercise. I got to day 5 of the shred and stopped. I was convinced Jillian was trying to kill me. Was hoping to start again tomorrow anyways as I'm off work all week. Wish me luck, hope it works...bikini season is nearing.

Its not only his back but his shoulder as well!

My weight loss is slow but I've lost a lot of inches & can fit into most of my 10's now! I'm hoping it will start showing on the scales soon as my muscles shouldn't be holding onto water like it does when you first exercise. You will always benefit from any form of exercise & is always encouraged as helps with the shrinkage!
You may find you might even gain a bit first but it will even itself out. I think we become too obsessed with the number on the scale & forget about what we actually look like & feel. Its always a good idea to measure yourself before you start an exercise regime so you can compare. I would also advise to do it in cm's as you can see any subtle change.
What exercise are you thinking of starting? I started cycling last year & have just got back into it after surgery & in my opinion is the best exercise going!

I was going to start the 30 day shred (again) and I will hopefully start using my cross trainer. I want to tone before holidays, 6 weeks until the first one and my belly still wobbles like jelly. Any exercises you would recommend? I know the shred should help with that a bit but if you've any other words of wisdom that would be great!
 
Any form of CV exercise will help with the tummy area, so the cross trainer will be an excellent way to help. Whilst your on the x trainer just remember to suck in your core ab muscles. I'm not a huge fan of the Shred so not the best person to help I'm afraid!
Just remember to measure yourself & just build up slowly if you're not used to it.

Morning girls
Just a quick hello had a brilliant weekend with hubby and kids but food has not been on plan at all. Going to say this week has been off plan and probably will be till Thursday :-( going try be on plan today but tue wed won't be as it's daughters birthday and day out. Back to work thurs so be be easier then.

Kim hubby's back looks a mess hope he's not to sore this morning, :) he's tough though and I'm sure it won't slow him down ;-)

Donna just go and have a good time don't worry about your food. I've been off plan but when I think about what I've had it's not a lot just food that I don't usually eat. It will be fine only 2 days :)

Yep your right he is a tough cookie, has had to be I suppose being in the Military for 30 years & he's up right as rain this morning moaning the dressings on his back are more painful!!! xx
 
Morning everyone! Had my dad bday celebrations last night, i got them to play a game of ring of fire (drinking game) my dad didn't take my advice to not have wine as his drink. So he got hammered and actually passed out before 9pm. Bless his heart. This was the first time i'd seen my parents drunk. Very strange but hilarious.

Food was all on plan until i had a tiny sliver of cake and also booze happened. But i had been saving up syns so i'm hoping it hasn't made a massive difference x

It is funny when our parents get tipsy! gald you had a good time. Im assuming you didnt make the cake in the end coz of your mums comment! Im sure if you've been saving syns it should be fine xx
 
Grrrrr, I have a great Bank Holiday planned..........housework! Have an onslaught of visitors from today til Thursday, all to do with DH's 36 hour ride he's doing tomorrow! He says he feels fine after yesterdays dramas, but we'll see, he's a tough cookie tho, or mad!!!
Am looking forward to watching the Jubilee Concert tonight, no parties for us tho, Im sure were the only house not celebrating! x
