Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

You guys are chatty as always. Sorry for being so quiet lately, have been very busy with prep for my nan's funeral that was today. I've been off plan but i've had bigger things on my mind obviously. When i randomly weighed last night i was 9st 13 so i reckon i was probably STS for this morning for my official. But i didn't have time to check.

Will be reading through the posts properly tonight =)

Hope the funeral went as well as expected Claire. They are never easy days to get thru, but they are important for closure, as Im sure you're well aware of.
As you say, you've had more important things to think about than SW, so dont you worry your pretty little head.

Argh having one of those days where nothing I eat fills me up!! Really annoying! X

I'm doing okay thank you Kim =) it was awful during the service, i didn't stop crying for even a second. My dad even read out a poem and said a few words which is unheard of as he didn't even write on a card for flowers at his own Dad's funeral. (this was my mum's mum).

Oh and for the 100% sunday wa poorly, monday 100% EE, 1 hexa, 1 hexb and 15syns. Today off plan.

After today i'm going to try and be very good. We have sooo much food leftover from the wake, christ knows where we'r gonna put it all haha x

Drinking so much and tried having a bowl of shredded wheat to fill me up but nothing's working and it's only half past 7 lol can it be bed time yet?!?

Usually just at period time I get like this but no good reason for it today just got a case of the munchies! X

So if I ate it all tonigt that would be fine and I could have two healthy extra tom but because I have left some which will eat tom I need to use it as half healthy extra tom?
Not questioning you Kim, just thinking out loud...to me its bit like having to syn mashed banana.
Think I will let common sense prevail if I do want to use a healthy extra tom but may just hang my head and accept the plan for what it is....Wuss lol

Syns are different tho Deb! Basically, if you're doing a EE day you are allowed 1 HexA & 1 HexB, so if you decide to have 75g of phili as a HexA & only eat half of it, that equates to half a HexA, so you could have the equivalent of another half of HexA like 15g of full fat cheese to equal the whole HexA. Another example would be, if you only had one alpen bar, you could have 2 ryvita to equal a whole HexB. You cant carry over healthy extras from day to day, if you dont eat your full quota for the day, they're gone. Another example today, I didn't use up all of my milk allowance so I had some phili to equal the full HexA.It doesn't matter that you didn't eat the whole 75g, but SW advice Hex's for calcium & fibre.
Hope that makes some sort of sense! If it doesn't keep asking away & im sure we'll get there between us!

I didn't quite understand it either (or like it) but I always thought slimming world said it for a reason, although yeah I really really didn't get it... Kim explained it really well though

I think in your books it tells you when halving scan brans you have two... I'm going to try that tomorrow with 2 scan bran with choc philli and banana and either an alpen light or hifi light... I'm assuming ryvita's are the same as scan bran

One Alpen bar = half a hexb & 2 ryvita = half a hexb, so together = a whole hexb. You can split them up how ever you like eg half tbsp olive oil & 30g wm bread.....the list is endless! Xx

Thanks Kim, I thought it was 3 ryvita we were allowed that's why that example was confusing me I used to have one alpen light and one slice bread. Do you know ryvita was my new thing last week and now I am finding myself squirm when I think of them. Must have sickened myself.
How's your neck today? I read your slowing down on bike, was it too much for the pain? X

Its 4 for the plain ryvita, 3 for the multigrain so you need to check which ones you have. I bought the multigrain by mistake that's how I know!
I'm cycling every other day now as had to start taking painkillers again as my neck was playing up with too much cycling! Couldn't do too much last week either as had house guests & too busy! Back to it this week tho but just need to take it easy as I do get carried away. I have to limit my mileage or I take myself off too far, end up doing too much & then paying for it with a pain in the neck literally lol! Xx

Ok so last week I dropped short of making it into the 9 so this week I am hoping that I can officially join your group.
Guess I will find out tomorrow either way won't I.....knowing my luck I will have gained lol
