Kim

I'm sat here with my gym stuff on try to muster the motivation to workout :-S

I'll WI tomorrow afternoon when I get up from a night shift.
I was just walking Charlie & was thinking about my lack of exercise & feeling very despondent about it all, when it occurred to me that even tho Im not going out on my bike or doing JM's DVD's, I walk 2 miles with Charlie most days & when Im working I must walk bloomin' miles up & down looking after the patients, so I feel a bit better about it all now!
I wander how many steps on a pedometer that you can wear, equates to a mile? Does anyone know? x

Edit.......2000 steps = 1 mile!!!!! Must invest in a pedometer!

Haha.....I've just gone onto ebay bought a pedometer for £1.39 with free delivery! It probably wont work at that price, but I'll give it a go lol!

Add me please. I will weigh in tom morning and report back. I am away to caravan and on holiday from work for two weeks so will see how I go. Would like to be really close to 8st by my birthday on 15th Oct.
I do better mentally doing sw to a point or I get too focused and unhappy so I will start by cutting out the crap and minimizing bread. Love a challenge but feel as tho I will be on the slow scenic route which suits me til at least after my holidays x

WORKOUT DONE!!!!!

Feel really good for it. This insanity is awesome.

I gave a ww pedometer that I got years ago for like £3 it's amazing. It tracks your steps and how far tour have walked. I wear it every day cos it beeps after you have walked a healthy amount of steps which is when u would start earning activity points but I log any extra miles I do :)

Ooh busy busy on here :) welcome back Annie!

Deb don't beat yourself up about it if you are mostly eating well a couple bottles of wine really isn't the end of the world! :)

We were losing well when we had the challenge on the go.

Well I ended up eating SIX Krispy kreme donuts yesterday lol!! To be fair I generally only get 1 a year as they don't sell them anywhere in Scotland do I took full advantage of my freebie!! Definately expecting a gain tomorrow but hopefully some donuts and cake won't do toooo much damage as the rest of the week was good apart from those major blips lol!! X

Have never eaten a Krispy Kreme, jammy one's are my fave......are they worth it????
Im sure they would be worth a gain if you do get one Laura, but you had such a good loss last week, it balances itself out in the end ! xx

Your right and I usually don't but have been eating crisp and chocolate every night. It's like a routine I have started and its annoying me now. I am tad stressed and using that as my excuse. If I can eat better without takin it too far then I will feel better. Glad you enjoyed your donuts x

I don't even like regular donuts but have a major soft spot for Krispy kremes they are soooo nice :-D yeh really not bothered I was only 1lb away from target last week and been years getting to this weight so another few weeks to get to target isn't a problem lol!!

You should defo try one Kim!

Hmmm deb maybe best to avoid buying the wine and treats if you are struggling to avoid them? Is it doing you any harm weight wise? If not I wouldn't be too bothered ;-) it is really hard to eat healthy when feeling stressed - is there anything that can be done to help the situation? I just finished a steps stress control class that I had to go to for a few weeks - my gp put me on it due to depression/anxiety stuff I had going on and done of it was pretty useful - helped with putting things into perspective and planning ways to deal with stress, maybe there's something similar available to you? X

It's just the past few weeks. Oh leaving one job and starting another. The work is so unpredictable and company he has just left are only giving him a fraction of what he is owed. They have excuses coming out their ears. Only way round it would be involving citizens advice/lawyer but its not enough money to justify that but It's our bill money. Oh just seems happy he is gettin something as the company are known for this. I am fuming mad and had massive argument about it. Dunno what it is I want him to do but It's very frustrating. He is self employed which doesn't help. The building trade is a nightmare.
So its all building up in my head. In one regard it was oh who worked so hard for it So I should just draw a line in the sand but I am so mad as it has a knock on effect on our bills :(

Laura, they are amaaaaaaazing and Kim, so worth it! I've been known to eat quite a few in one day! Looooool

Sorry to hear things aren't easy Deb, it's funny how we all turn to food. I think I'd probably try to not buy the crisps and choc so that the temptation isn't there in the first place (easier said than done, I know!)

Well done on the workout Vic! I took the little boy I'm looking after on an adventure in Morden on a trial run to find the playgroup he's going to tomorrow. Well, we found it, but took a detour on the way!

I really haven't felt hungry today - already had my 2L for the day! It's getting easier :)

Nikki, my WI is Sunday x
