There were 3 of us, I hate this waiting game though. I know it sounds silly, but I'm glad whoever gets it I'll know as I can find out through slimming world. I've calmed down now but I know when the phone rings I'm going to be a mess again.

I really enjoyed being back at the school though, realised how much I'd missed it actually. But don't think I can afford to volunteer again if I don't get the job :/

I do my chips in a mesh thing as well, they're great aren't they.

I know and at least I know there's another one coming up, which is actually more like what I was doing when I was volunteering, but its hard not to get down about it. Off to little ones school Halloween party tonight, will have to try and stay away from the hotdogs... should be okay but who knows I'm feeling really down. At least there won't be someone I know (fingers crossed anyway) that will be going for it as well. It was my first interview in 2 years so hopefully I'll be better at the next one. Apparently I did really well up until the formal bit, my task was really good ect. I'll have to practice more for this one and think more about what questions they might ask ect.

Sorry to hear you didn't get your jobs, Annie & Donna, but as others have said good interview experience for you both & those jobs obviously weren't meant to be! Fingers crossed for the next one's x
Glad to hear your Mum is doing well Annie. They dont hang about nowadays, patients are up either the same day or certainly the next day.....too many risks to lying in bed!
After I had my second cervical discectomy they even asked me if I wanted to go home the same day, not realising I still had an infusion going with morphine.....muppets! I politely refused....enjoying the morphine too much lol! x

Thank you both, feeling way more positive about it now. It sounds like she actually really wants me for the other position, but obviously I'm still wary as you never know who else might apply and someone amazing might beat me. But I had the interview experience and I can improve my performance for next time. Apparently everyone was impressed by me and I did the task really well so at least I know I didn't just completely mess up the interview In fact I'm looking forward to them putting the advertisement up so I can apply


Still went on my run (was feeling like not bothering after the interview and then I was out at little ones Halloween party) but really glad I did I feel great now

Long story but ended up having choc cake tonight and already at top of syns never mind don't regret it. Kate got it for me so I had to have some we were making up and that is far more important than number on scales tomorrow.

Long story but ended up having choc cake tonight and already at top of syns never mind don't regret it. Kate got it for me so I had to have some we were making up and that is far more important than number on scales tomorrow.

Aww I wouldn't worry too much about the cake. But if you feel better leaving it a week then go for it. I'm sure it hasn't made too much difference.

That is a little strange but maybe its because your so slim anyway, most people at 9 weeks still have quite a bit of fat covering their bump... (and I don't mean fat people but well I can't explain what I mean lol, I was a size 12 when I got pregnant and thats not fat but I had a lot of tummy fat) so maybe that's why a lot of people don't notice it get hard straight away... although saying that it was earlish I started to notice (sorry I'm rambling)


I don't think its all bad with the jobs, at least we both have another one on the horizon to apply for so these ones obviously just weren't supposed to be. I got another interview invite last night, was discussing with boyfriend whether I should go or not as it was only to be a midday supervisor and we were worried that I'd get offered that job and then get an interview for the LSA job which would be much more suitable (more hours ect.) but then I realised the school wasn't where I thought it was anyway... its a lot further out and would mean two buses, which just isn't worth it when its for an hour or so's work a day. So going to ring them today to say I can't make it. It's nice to realise people are interested in me though.

One thing that does annoy me a little about the interview yesterday is that looking back I gave a very good interview and asked loads of questions and said some really good stuff, but a lot of that stuff I can't repeat in another interview at the same place as it wouldn't look natural, I mean like questions which obviously have already been answered and comments which were sort of off the cuff, but looking back worked out quite well. Also I can't wear my favourite smart top again for an interview at the same place.

You do look great nikki I'm sure you'll be fine in your bikini it's better being rock hard than flabby like mine ha ha
As your pregnancy grows the hard ridge rises up and that's how they measure you from the top to the bottom which is just above bikini line it should measure same size as weeks pregnant clever really
Take care and stop worrying about the numbers you need to concentrate on your health and the bubba xx

Thanks Hun I'm trying to relax but I've got horrible paranoia now an I'm sure my OH is going bonkers at all my accusations.

On a bright note I've just managed to stomach my first bit of fruit...... Half a snack pack of grapes and lemon in hot water!

Ronnie you do what suits you best. I am tryin very hard to not let things like chocolate cake or extra slice of bread bother me or affect my mind set. It's very hard tho isn't it. I am basically tryin to get fairly good and cutting out rubbish without depriving myself if that makes sense. Am sure come next week the scales will be your friend x

Nikki I was size eight when I got pg and even tho I knew it was water etc my tummy was hard early on hence the reason I was wearing maternity jeans to first scan. Sounds bit crazy now but I just didn't want buy bigger size. Looking back tho I wonder what made me buy them as I was superstitious that way. You will look great pg. X

Donna can under stand your predicament. Would it maybe be someone else who interviews you? If it was the head this time, she may already have made her mind up but the person in charge of the other role, if there is some one, may be asked to get a feel for you. If that makes sense?

Weigh in today....showed the same as yesterday which I was dreading seeing change but 2lb loss. Can't believe it. Think that has happened maybe twice in my life. I am very pleased. The main thing I have changed is not eating crisp and chocolate at night which must save me about 1500 per week. Also not had take away for two weeks. Apart from that I am having three meals per day. Went to gym twice but only for 30min but really enjoying it. Keep sayin am going to do jillian michaels shred but haven't got round to it...yet.

No harm in not doing WI today Ronnie, as I often miss a week, as I find it a bit obsessive. There was obviously a reason for the choccie cake by the sounds of it. Just do the best you can next week x

Im sure when you get your next interview Donna, the questions will be very different so your answers will be. Im sure you wont remember the questions you asked them, but if they are the same & relevant for the job, there will be no harm asking them again. You could wear the same top, just wear a different jacket or different accessories....they wont know! x

I lost 1.5lbs this week, which is most of last weeks *week bloat, but its still *week so still puffy lol!I dont let it worry me now as its only water retention & certainly not fat as I've been 100% on plan for 3 weeks now, so how can it be!
I think I am being over ambitious on the 11lbs in Weeks Challenge, as I am a notoriously slow loser, so I think Im setting myself up for a fall as usual! So Im going to have a think & re-name my Challenge to be more achievable. I wont not have a Challenge as I always need a little goal, so thinking cap is on! Also, not touched a drop of the devil juice in 24 days lol! x

Am not sure about losing seven pound before Xmas. Even tho I have lost 3 in two weeks I am sure it will slow down too. Will keep plodding away as already I feel so much better about myself

Have re-named my challenge to 11 Weeks (77 Day) Xmas Challenge, so taking away the added pressure of 11lbs in 11 weeks. I said way back at the beginning of re starting my weight loss I wanted to lose 5.5 - 11lbs by Xmas = 0.5 -1lb per week for Xmas, as that is more achievable for me & I have to be realistic with my slow losses! x
