Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

Well been sat in garden with dog most of morning. All washing done, weeding done and garden all swept.

Just had nice chicken salad for my dinner n gonna have some raspberries & yoghurt now.

Struggling to think of something for tea though. I generally live off salad in this weather but had salad for tea last night and dinner today

Anyone got any suggestions?
 
Weigh in this morning and up 2lbs, to 8st 8 so not too bad for a week off plan! Have a head cold and feeling miserable. Having hot lemon & manuka honey so hope I feel better soon. Gorgeous out again already 22 degrees!!

2lbs is awesome for a whole week off and that will probably be bloat :)
 
I'd love to go yoga, never get the chance to go classes though.... I'm lucky I fit my running in.

Speaking of running my mum has decided she's going to that race on Sunday but will decide on the day whether she's running it or just going to cheer us all on.


Thanks for little one's Birthday wishes everyone, he seems to have had a really good day so far, happy with his presents from us and seemed really happy and excited at school. I'm sort of ready and waiting until its time to go pick him up now from school, then its going to be a massive rush getting him home and changed and getting to the party so we're there before other people.
 
AGHHHHH - Just had a call from my boyfriend, some idiot has parked on the zigzag lines outside his school, blocking the school bus in, which is in turn blocking the cars in!!! This hasn't happened in the three years he's been working there before, why has it happened today when I need the car to get little one back and changed and to his party on time :( It best be sorted soon so he can get to us on time :/

Well I decided on fake donner kebab for tea with a corn on cob, salad & jacket potato. Only thing I didn't have was pitta bread cos had cereal earlier this morning. Oh n substituted lamb mince for lean beef mince instead
 
You cant beat your own bed! Home now and managed to stay on plan both days and that was with 2 meals out for lunch! Ate at a Harvester today and that was a task in itself as not eaten there before and didnt realise you could have so much food lol! Not very much SW friendly and had the flame grilled chicken breast in the end, but did notice they put the calorie content next to every dish, so was handy with the sauces and dressings.
Had to go to Marksies and buy a 4.5 tog quilt as its so hot and been meaning to buy a summer quilt for ages and it looks as tho this weather is continuing for a while yippee!

I'm off to Barcelona next week n I know it's just gonna go pear shaped for the 4 days I'm away.

Hopefully not too bad though, I don't really like tapas n OH has pretty much said all breakfasts are gonna be McDonald's cos he won't pay for hotel breakfast as its 23 euro per day. Unless I can find somewhere which sells fruit etc

We got there in plenty of time. Just found out boyfriends leaving do is Thursday and not Friday though which pisses me off as it means I can't go running club at all this week.... didn't run today and wasn't going to bother doing anything to make up for it as I thought I was running on Thursday but boyfriend has just asked ''Did I tell you I had to order what I want on Thursday?'' no you didn't and you didn't tell me it was bloody Thursday either, which is the important thing!

I'll try and do something tomorrow, but don't know what to do, might take myself for a run after dropping little one off, or could do crosstrainer, or maybe a DVD :/ Can't be bothered doing anything though (wish I'd known as I would have done something today instead of sitting out in the garden) winds me up how I never get told anything.


Anyway party went really well.... I did eat some sandwiches... but we had chinese rather then pizza for tea so better choice there :) little one had a fab day which is whats most important.

Excellent it went well donna and good choice on the takeaway ;o) I know we say this time and time again but men are just rubbish at times. They dont see where or why the things they fail to mention can have an effect on others plans. I would just do what you can be bothered doing in the time you have. Do you have a few hours once wee one is dropped off? i think mentally if you know you are going to do excericse at a certain time it helps get through it as opposed to spur of the minute, if that makes sense? On the other hand, i wasnt 100% sure i was going to run in the heat the other day but i just went and loved it and got further than ever

just do what you can and if you dont want to, dont feel guilty either ;o)

I could shake him at times, well I'm in my running gear ready to do something after dropping him off. I think I'll stay in the house and do a mixture of running and crosstrainer. I get a couple of hours depending on what time I manage to get home from dropping him off. But have to fit shower and getting ready in there as well, I'll do at least half an hour but will aim to do a little more then that.

Going to try and keep syns 6 or below for the rest of the week (except for race day on Sunday) but we have some Birthday cake left, going to be very tempting to have a little of that, if I do I will not feel guilty. I refuse.

Sometimes it takes a while to flush it out, I'm still on star week, but I think I must be nearing the end as I'm starting to feel slim again (I was feeling massive which I knew was star week but at the same time when I'd had a couple of days off plan you can't help but think ooo is it actually those days making me feel big) I need to try and be really careful on my days I don't have plans actually now as we have so many plans coming up.... BBQ with running club next Thursday, then we're in Yarmouth (I'm aiming to be really good down there but its hard as food is completely out of my control, if they say we're getting KFC or Oh I've put pizza, wedges and pre-bought cheesey pasta in the oven there's not much I can do :/) after that I have a week where we're at the casino for a 2 course meal and then have two occasions we're meeting friends for meals, the weekend after that we're meeting friends for a night out and food.... luckily the following weekend the plan is curry night with family at ours and that will be completely sw friendly apart from pudding and possibly drinks... but I may stay off them or fit them into weekly plans (then we're off on our holidays.... wish me luck still fitting in that bikini-I tried it on today and it still looks good, so if I can maintain with all these plans then I'll be doing well :) )
 
Men are a pain in the butt the majority of the time donna!
Good that you have your running gear on to make yourself do something. I do that, even if I end up walking around in the clothes for a few hours. Eventually my oh will say why have you got your gym clothes on so I have to do something lol.


Im actually feeling a bit better today. Think these tablets are defo working but may also be because the sun isnt out! Gonna see how my head is when I go down stairs but may try some actual exercise. Im reallt aching from the yoga class yesterday so gonna have a bath first!

They just don't think do they, it's not his fault that the day was changed, it just annoys me that he didn't seem to think I should know as he knows that would effect my running. I'm partly tempted to see if my sister can have little one for a bit so I can still go to club but I'd need to make sure I have a lift and with me not going yesterday the lady who usually gives me a lift on a Thursday drove (Tuesday is usually my day to drive) so I'd feel a bit cheeky asking her to drive me. Also I like getting it done in a morning sometimes to be fair, I feel really good today, I just did 15 minutes on the crosstrainer and then 15 minutes running, I don't want to do too much during the week this week anyway as we have our 14 mile coastal run on Sunday.

Next week we're off to Yarmouth on Friday after school so I won't have time for a long run during the week, so I might do something (either crosstrainer, running, or DVD) each day Monday - Friday, hopefully half an hour to an hour a day will make up for not doing the long run at the weekend, it falls at quite a good time as it won't harm me not to run the weekend after that race anyway.... my main concern will be when we go to Bulgaria as there isn't a gym at the hotel so I'm not bothering taking my trainers and gear as I can't see me going out for a run on my own in the heat, I wouldn't feel comfortable and also I want to enjoy our first hot holiday together, its family time. Hopefully all the extra walking and swimming we'll be doing will make up for it, my fitness levels are up at the moment so fingers crossed two weeks off running won't take me too long to build up again.


Glad your feeling better, fingers crossed the tablets are working :) today is a funny day, I'm hoping I haven't dressed too cool for work, but after my exercise I was boiling and couldn't bear to put jeans on, so I have long leggings, a vest top and a long top over that... think I'll take a jacket with me as well.
 
Goodness me Donna, you are a social butterfly! As long as you stay on plan the days you're not partying you should be ok. It is very difficult tho when food is so out of your control and to be honest I hate it, but its ok once in a while.

I've just booked myself a slot in the Next sale online for tomorrow and just had a look at the preview, but cant imagine I'll get anything in my size as the clothes go so quickly, but I'll try my best as am desperate for some new shorts as the ones I have hubby said I looked 'fat' in them cos they were too big lol! It was a backhanded compliment I know, but he let me go out in public in them haha!
