Just checked 35g of either the fruit and nut or the strawberry mini's.


Trousers look fab Vicki :) I need to pop to dorothy perkins, they have some nice work skirts which I think I may have to treat myself to ;)
 
feel really weird boyfriend said he thinks he'll be home just gone nine, I've just finished watching a film and don't know what to do with myself now :/ if he were going to be later I'd put another film on or possibly have a bath, but he could be here any minute (well I imagine he'll probably text when he's on his way he usually does)

Thanks Donna. They were on offer in Morrisons n I really fancied them. Thought they would be good to have with some strawberries & yoghurt.

On another subject, does anyone know where are selling nice cropped trousers that aren't joggers, denim or combats?

Don't know if I've lost or not in the overall challenge but think I'm down from last week.
You know I said I was chilling about the numbers etc well that's harder than I thought :-( really struggled this week inside my head but trying not to pass onto girls..... God it's so difficult to explain but suppose cause I've always felt big since I was a child it's going take a while for those thoughts to be changed, but I really really need to not pass my issues onto my kids, so really need to try harder. :)
Been a nightmare this week trying get holiday things sorted only 7 days to go !!!
Got a few online delivers coming so hope it all fits :)

Oh my gosh its hot out there! Just back from a 3.2 mile jog and I'm now dripping like a tap! Need to get showered and ready for 2pm as thats my online slot for the Nest sale slot.......I'll let you know how I get on!

7 days to go ronnie wohooooo!! have you just been eating normally? do you feel better within yourself? as you said ronnie it can take a while to retrain your brain. i have said it time and time again but the scales play havoc with our mindset, our full day and our general confidence. if you feel good then that is all that matters x stay positive x
 
ladies when i first came on here today i was raging, angry, in a mood and generally felt like crying. i typed my response to ronnie and realised i need to apply it to myself.
the scales show 2lb gain. i know it isn't a true reading. god knows why i am saying that as that is why we have weigh in days and you take what you see. but i know i haven't eaten enough to warrant a 2lb gain. i probably had 400 call outwithh my syns so if that what has caused it fair enough. i know i havent eaten any differently from the past four weeks, ok maybe not wrote everything down and had wine and crisp at weekend but they were within syns.
yesterday i weighed 8st 4.25 which was .25 of a gain yet today 8st 6lb.
now the reason i am spitting my dummy out and being a bad sportsman is because if i take what the scales say to be true i am in danger of saying "sod it" and giving myself a pass to hell where i eat junk and give in. i am not allowing myself to go there!! this is the longest i am sure i have stuck at sw, i am trying so hard with the running, i feel so much better, i look better yet the scales have/had single handedly made me question if my effort was worth it. i know i don't deserve the gain but i will take it. god i sound so bitter, hopefully that is the Pmt ha ha
sorry for the long rant but seriously i am determined to see this all off by next week. hope you are all good x
 
Had a busy day!

Weighed in yesterday, 2lb loss!! :)

Hubby had a doctors appointment, again! He`s been told to lose weight. He`s 5ft8ins and weighs 14st.
He`s already grizzling like a three year old! :D

This afternoon the occupational therapist came round to assess our housing needs. The council, in their wisdom, put us in an upstairs flat with no lift. He`s got mobility issues amongst other issues.

Hopefully we`ll get moved fairly soon but I`m not holding my breath. We`ve been waiting ages already.

Jo: Good you stayed on plan for dinner! Hope your back gets better soon, I`ve been there myself!!:)
Well done on the 2lb loss.....how much more have you to lose?

Just had a look at your last official WI of July 1st and you were 10st 0.75lbs, so you seem to be maintaining your weight which is no bad thing. How tall are you?
Know what the hayfevers like as suffer myself, so your poor nose must have taken a bashing ....what do you take for it?
How exciting going on your hols, just get out there and enjoy yourself x

Well done on the loss Kim, I'm taking your advice today and resting my legs, I'll hammer the crosstrainer next week (well depending how I feel after the race on Sunday) to make up for my lack of long run next weekend.

Thanks for asking Deb, he seems to be fine now. I'm keeping the food diary though as this is what he's like and its how I've forgotten about it in the past. He hasn't had a poo this morning though so I can't take a sample in today, its being made way more awkward by the fact that we have to get a sample before 2pm (but when he's at school that means before 8.30) Hope I manage to get one next week otherwise the results won't be back by the time he has his doctors appointment.

Just remember all the trouble I had, at the end of the day don't worry about it so much, if you feel better in yourself then stuff what the scales say, they'll follow suit eventually :)

I would love to get that low for hubbys 50th at the end of November, so will have a go at getting that low, but realistically 8.7 is better for me!

Think we must have been posting at the same time so I missed your 'rant'!
Right......I've been bouncing between 8.13 and 8.11 all week, so like you a 2lb difference! There are so may reasons why we see that and in this heat fluid retention has a lot to do with it, carb bloat, toilet habits, totm, increase in exercise or just one of those things! Tomorrow you will see a different number and all will be happy again in the world! PLEASE try not to stress too much and DO NOT let that 'sod it' attitude take over, because this last month will be a waste! Try and look at your weight loss over a month period as thats a much better indicator and dont forget you are so near target you will have these natural fluctuations.....so ignore them cos the general trend is DOWN!
Ill put up the challenge in a mo so you can see how well youve done over this last month......so stop with negativity Mrs and carry on as you have been with the healthy eating and exercise. Dont forget you will be toning as well, so your body shape will be changing for the better,

With that 2lb gain Deb, it means you've lost 4.25lbs in 5 weeks or on average 0.85lbs per week which is fantastic! It took me 16 months to lose 2 stone which averaged at 0.5lbs per week!
Tomorrow you coild weigh yourself and you could see that 2lb gone....its just one of those things! What you need to remember is you're sticking to plan and are exercising, so how can it be fat......its not! Just natural fluctuations x

i know Kim and thanks. i already caught myself and will not allow myself to be disheartened. the losses over the past four weeks shocked me. just like today's did. need to take the good with the bad.
i had two coffee plus a trip to the loo and its down by half a pound. soon sad i know but knew i needed the loo lol
wont go back on them and will keep doing what am doing.
