Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

Not had the healthiest week at all. Too many fun social things ruining weigh loss at the moment so I think I shall stick at the challenge a bit longer than the initial 8week plan.

Managed a STS this week which I am supee pleased with as its totm. I think water may have saved the day actually as was showing about 3 or 4lb up most of the week. Sunday was a major eating day out with my friend and Monday met another friend for drinks! Rest of the week not had much of an appetite coz working in this heat destroys it. So mainly lived off icelollies and loads of water (last 2 days had over 5 litres each day wasnt trying too just been so hot!) Or maybe icelollies and cocktails have magical weigh loss properties? ;-)

As the others say stay strong deb the heat plays havoc with the scales don't let an artificial gain become a real one by thinking sod it.

It won't be easy Ronnie but the reward of healthy girls with good attitude to food will be more than worth it. Not sure about on this thread can't remember if we have really spoke about it but I know I have on other peoples diaries and everyone's mum always played a big part in their unhealthy relationship with food, whether it be making them eat unhealthy things or nasty comments or whatever.

Well done on the jeans Vic looking great.

Good idea on the food diary donna hopefully will sort out the wee mans problems as its not nice to have yucky poos lol! Hopefully it will be as simple as just cutting out certain foods.

Can't remember everything everyone else has said sorry lol :p

So yeh a STS for the challenge please and think I will extend it another 4 weeks if anyone else is doing it that long? At the start 4lb in 8 weeks sounded so doable but there's birthdays and hen night (next Saturday woohoo excited!!) and friends over visiting etc so I get a run of losses then a gain takes me back to the start! X

It's hard with all the socials isn't it Laura, I'm glad I decided to maintain now as I don't have a week without plans until September (well possibly the last week in August lol) I want to enjoy them though, which yes doesn't always mean food.... but a lot of the time it does ;)

We just have to be good when we can, I need to remind myself how much better my eating is then it used to be, before I would have all the socials but then eat rubbish in between as well.

I can't wait for his appointment because at the moment my mind is in over drive thinking about what it could be, I know I shouldn't as I probably won't work it out just by thinking, the food diary will bring up any problem foods... the new one this morning is eggs, as he had a couple of slices of cake on Wednesday and he has eggs a lot at his dads and is poorly there quite a lot.... but I'm not getting anywhere by second guessing what it might be.

I'm definitely leaning towards a food intolerance though, my Uncle can't have too much dairy and my Auntie has reactions to strawberries and tomatoes... so it does run in the family and also after talking to my mum we realised that we have runny poo's quite often as well, we just don't have the pain with it, so maybe we have something as well but because we don't have the pain it doesn't really bother us.

Nothing wrong with having lots of socials Laura! As long as you had a good time thats the main thing, as time with family and friends are precious. I'll extend your Challenge time an extra 4 weeks no probs x

sts is great esp when your having fun.
how is little baby?

personal best of 3.7 miles. was torture with the heat and i was literally dragging my feet. feel great now of course but boy was it hard. no air and no shade.
in shade now with a beer. 102 cal so 5 syns but i deserve it so not worrying x

in your face 2lb!!!!

well done Deb and what a fab attitude.

I was going to cook lasagne tomorrow so I could carb up for my race on Sunday, but little one keeps asking for a BBQ and it would be a shame to waste all the lovely weather, so I'm going to have a green day and have a couple of quorn burgers/sausages... boyfriend and little one have some cheap burgers and sausages in the freezer that need eating up. Also going to make some BBQ sauce and have salad and a tomato pasta.... yumyum :)

If I'm hungry in the evening I have a veg curry in the freezer which I'll have on a jacket with more salad for tea (as boyfriend seems to be fancying BBQ for lunch)

I actually can't wait, haha how sad is that.

Little one is fine again today, so no idea what's causing his tummy troubles, just hope we don't have a long slog at the doctors just for them to say they don't know what it is and there's nothing they can do :(

thanks donna...yes defo take advantage of the sun and enjoy the bbq. excellent he is better too but can imagine your frustration.
14 miles....yikes

Hubby and his mate are getting up at 3am to go on a 150 bike ride to avoid the heat tomorrow and I'm very tempted to get up with them and go to the Next sale that starts at 5am.....mad or what!

Well done on the run in the heat Deb....just think of the calories burnt, so goodness knows how many you'll burn on Sunday Donna!

Kim am going to the sale!! its two minutes from my house but not sure whether to just be there for six or aim for five? great minds lol

I might not run the 14 miles though, if its really hot again I've told my mum I'll walk/jog at her pace with her. I don't want to be rushing off and then just worrying about her while I wait at the finish line. But saying that the weathers looking good, so hopefully it will be a bit cloudy and not quite as hot as last weekend, I'll still run with her I think but at least it won't be mainly walking.

This is crazy......I'm stood in a huge queue & its 4.50am to get into the sale & I bet I'll come out with nada lol!

home now Kim. our wee store wasn't too busy but i was hopping from dept to dept trying to get us all holiday stuff. had a moment of clarity at one point and looked thru my bags for all the rubbish i picked up. few good things like work trousers but wasn't sure on size. took the 8 for motivation lol. couple vests for £2. Wee top for little one and jeans and couple top for OH. nothing special to be honest. am sure i will be back round for a refund ha

Hey ladies. Sorry I was awal yesterday I had a really rubbish day at work. I dont know why I bothered. My HoD is a total div and is been horrible cos ive handed notice in. I wadnt allowed to go to the maths dep in case I went dizzy so I had to sit in the library all day and input data into the computer. If he thinks im doing that all next week im not! So I was in a foul mood all day.

Well done in losses yesterday and well done on the run deb.
Donna im glad ur lil one is feeling a little better.

I was shouting up to Scotland to see if you were up as well Deb haha!
Ooh hope your 8's fit....let us know.
Did you think there was any good stuff, cos I didn't really? I was in by about 05.10am so not too much of a wait and was in my car by 06.50am but spent about 20 mins queuing to pay but really quick at check out. I was quite restrained as just bought what I wanted, so got a pair of jeans, pair of shorts and 3 tops and taking a few bits back. I wish they did inbetweenie sizes cos I think I'm a size 9 as 10 a bit loose and an 8 a bit tight, but would rather have clothes a bit looser especially in this heat!
Washing on, shorts on, dinner prepped so thats me ready for sunbathing......x

Kim we are so alike. the 8s do fit wohooooo..but tighter around the bum than i would normally have but like you the size 10s give me a saggy non existent bum. OH assures me they fit well.
at xmas i got a whole load stuff for wee one but this time was rubbish. spent 100 between three of us with things to go back :-(
tired now and couldn't work out why my alarm was going off this morning ha
feeling bloaty and wobbly today...am sure its psychological but going to ignore it x
