Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

Kim I think a christmas challenge sounds awesome once the holidays are over. Maybe september time? I want to be 9 stone by christmas or pregnant lol :)


So I have some great news not only did I pass my numercy skills test (would have been bad if I didn't!) I passed literacy too. I totally wasn't expecting to!!! Was thinking I was going to have to wait until my diagnosis came through official then book it again with extra time. I alsmost hugged the guy when he told me!!!


Another thing I just bought this chicken from town

You can see the size of the packet in comparison to the mug maybe. Anyways not only was it only £5 from butchers but it was 2 for £10!!! Im going to de-skin it all, portion it all out and put it in the freezer! Wont need to buy meat for weeks as we barely eat anything but chicken!!!
 
Brilliant news Vicky really pleased for you. Does that mean you've got the aok to start your course in September then?

looking at the challenge is depressing. I've done so badly :( After my hols I'll see how I feel and may join in a Christmas challenge, I have no idea where I want to be with my weight at the moment though and also marathon training will be kicking in soon. So not sure what to do.


Had a lovely day in Chesterfield, was great seeing the ladies at St. Johns, had our photo's taken with them and they're going to send us a copy of whatever's printed in the paper as well :) naughty lunch and at the casino with boyfriend for tea tonight as well so that's naughty, but as long as I'm on plan the days I don't have plans I'm not beating myself up. Will probably change my tune next week when its WI day, but I need to enjoy life as well. I need to find the right balance with my food, I have a very unhealthy relationship with food-I go from either being too strict and ALWAYS sticking to plan, freaking out when I'm put in a position where I can't, or going the other way and eating rubbish... I want to get myself in a position where I'm at a nice weight and can eat healthy most of the time but also enjoy days out with friends and family without having a fit about maybe gaining a couple of lbs.

Was pleasantly surprised at WI. To say it was an evening wi and I had my dress and leggings on the scales said 12st bang on! Wonder what I would have been naked and in the morning!
 
Why is looking at the Challenge depressing Donna? You've decided on a target of 9.7 and are maintaining now....have you changed your mind on your target weight?

I wander what SW have up their sleeve then Nikki.....something exciting and new?

Kim is right you should be feeling good!! your living your life as you want to. don't feel rubbish or guilty as you are in a good place x

every one is doing great. loads of good attitudes. i keep surprising myself and feel good.
did 4.15 miles last night...think 4 will be my focus and trying to up my speed. going to do some shred as well. get toned for holiday x

Yes, we're all doing pretty good, as most of us have a focus which really helps and bikinis are a telling incentive lol! Luckily I wont need one in the Lake District, just cycling shorts and walking boots!
Before you know it, you'll want to do more than 4 cos it will be too easy!

i hope so - i was going to aim for 5 last night but only once i got to 4 then decided that if i keep trying to get further all the time it will upset my mindset and it will put me off. Will do 4 for a while but just get quicker - quite pleased wiht that decision a 4 still isnt easy, just doable lol

you will look great in the shorts but remember to get ones that fit you this time lol
 
Wow 13 portions of chicken is great Vicky. I want to fill our chest freezer more but boyfriend thinks we have enough in... I need to get out to a market on my own lol.


I don't quite know why I'm feeling bad about it Kim, suppose I'm just worried more that I will have gained more. If I'm still at 9 stone 7 I'll be happy, my boobs are massive again, seems to be part of my cycle that I have nice full boobs for 3 weeks and then they go all bleugh for 1, so I'm happy with that and more then happy to stay at 9 stone 7... I haven't had chance to weigh but I'm having nightmares about being closer to 10 stone next time I do weigh.

Feeling really good today though and yesterday was really naughty so that's a surprise but a good one, like you say I should be able to go out and have fun without feeling crap the next day about it.

You defo should be able to go out and have fun donna. I still do it and I still have quite a bit to lose. If you dont enjoy journey then you are more likely to fall from the wagon. I know I have tried to go out and 'be good' and just drink water and ive had a rubbish night because I was so concious of what I was doing. Just enjoy yourself and get back on it the next day :)

Yes good decision Deb, cos if you push yourself too hard it can be off putting and 4 miles is a great distance to do as its long enough to get a good workout and get your HR up.

I ordered a pair of gel shorts size 10 and they've gone back as I had a baggy arse in them, so orderd an 8! Sometimes the 8's are a tad snug and other times fit perfect! Im wearing a pair of crop jeans today.....size 8!

Stop being so hard on yourself Donna! Do you feel happy physically and emotionally? Are you healthy? I bet you would answer yes to both questions and if you did, surely that is the best way to be and feel!
