Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

100% day !! :))
Hope everyone has been good x

Ok so if this is motivation I don't know what is!! I should go back to work the first week of feb..... They have asked what size uniform I want, I have said 8. This is what I was wearing before I got pregnant!! Eeeekk!

Need to get back to 9st 5lb by then, so 1st 7lb in 10 weeks!

Need to seriously get on it now x

Wow Nikki, I'm sure you can do it the right thing to do as well, if you went for a bigger size you might find it harder to get motivated to loose more.

Here's my motivation

Hoping with the help of sticking to plan when I don't have plans, doing the shred (and any other exercise I can squeeze in) and some magic underwear ;) this will look a lot nicer on new years eve

Wow that is stunning Donna! You look fab ! Are you going to a party on New Year's Eve?

We are cooking a 3 course meal for OHs mum and dad on the 14th dec and are thinking of doing a similar one for my mum and dad the weekend before my 25th birthday which is the 4th jan or New Year's Eve. . So need to think logically about my weight loss now so I keep on track, I know when I was 10st before my size 8s fitted but I want to be back to my comfy 9st 5lb xx

Yeah we're going to a party with boyfriends parents, but its a 10 min drive from us so will get a taxi back to ours after.

I need to be realistic now and be careful when I don't have plans....

over the next few weeks I have a lot of off plan things

30th Nov - baby shower (afternoon tea) and at York market
6th Dec - work Christmas do
weekend after - meeting friends.... hopefully just for drinks.... maybe for food
16th Dec - carvery meal with starter, pudding and mince pie's

then of course Christmas and everything that comes with it :/ think I'll be off plan Christmas eve, Christmas day and boxing day

I'm the same hun. I have at least 2 things to work around but I am easily persuaded into other things. I put too much pressure on myself and make unrealistic targets.

I might not be going back to work but I need to be prepared incase I do. It's so sad to think I may only have 10 more weeks off with Millie :-( xxx

Gave myself a good talking to about eating and drinking crap! ( not lierally, but you know what I mean!!)

On day two of being 100% No messing about. Don`t think I`ll make my 8.5st challenge target but I`m not beating myself up about it.
Any sort of loss will be good and if I can get to the lower part of the 9`s then all well and good! :)

Need to take more fluids so off to get some NAS squash. Never got the hang of plain water :)
Haha, well done on stopping eating crap! Sometimes we need to give ourselves a good talking to!
You have the right attitude about not stressing about your target. You've had a lot on and cant really blame yourself for going off the rails a wee bit. But you're back to healthy eating now and just remember how good it feels and that should spur you on.
I swear by drinking lots, especially after being off plan cos it helps to flush out all the nasty toxins. You'll probably be pleasantly surprised on next Mondays WI x

Well done everyone for your 100% days

Feeling good today, managed the shred.... although my legs are very stiff after no exercise for 3 weeks and just weighed at my mums 9 stone 13 and a half.... so have I lost from last time? Also those scales usually weigh me heavier (obviously don't know how they'll compare to my new scales)
Just had a look back and think you were 10st 0.5lbs the last time you weighed but not sure what scales they were. If thats the case you must be doing something right go maintain your weight. Your new scales, in theory, should be correct, but at least you will get a constant with them.
Wow, check you out in that lovely dress, you look gorgeous x

100% day !! :))
Hope everyone has been good x
Yay to another 100% day x

Another 100% day for me in Wednesday. Its amazing that by setting a mini challenge its spured us on again. Unfortunately mine will only last til next Thursday cos its Hubby's birthday, so downhill on the food front, but I will be straight back to it on the Monday and that should be me thru to Xmas being angelic!

I've been awake since 3am, cos Charlie was all restless, so by 4am I was up in my lime green Crocs and dressing gown....not a good look lol.........helping her out into the garden for a wee! Its now 5.15am and she's still out there, so I thought I would catch up to try and keep myself awake!
Mum came down on Tuesday, which I am very grateful for, cos Charlie adores her and its helping me cos I'm not so good on the neck/back side of things and I've got to get things sorted for Hubby's birthday.

Its good to hear everyone is becoming a bit more positive and focused now.......I do love our support group on here x

They soon add up don't they :) well done girls !!!

I too have a few things coming up but hey it's Xmas.
My plans are:

Sat 23rd house party ... Party food and maybe drinks but might drive cause got kids with us
Fri 29th meet up with girlfriends ... Carvery driving
Sat 30th out to a Mexican restaurant... Help never been here before so no idea of food choice possibly drinking
Sat 14th out for friends birthday definitely drinks possible meal too
Sat 21st Xmas party... Xmas dinner meal and drinks
24th 25th 26th off plan

So 5 meals off plan in total not a disaster when you actually write it down but really need to get straight back on plan the next day especially if I have a few drinks, that's my problem and before I know it is been 3 days off plan... That's my next challenge ;-) !!

Annette well done getting back to plan.. I know how hard it is to do it... Like Kim says plenty of fluid and snack on free/super free foods and before you know it you've been 100%x

Nikki think positive and that new uniform will fit like a glove, you are doing great. Can't believe you go back to work so soon it's really flown by.
Is there a possibility that you won't though?

Donna what a gorgeous dress, you look lovely and I'm sure you will on New Year's Eve too.
Have you stopped running now? Hope you ok ?

Both of you should join the mini challenge it's been a great motivator and the days soon add up x

Kim huni how are things poor Charlie :-( so glad you got your mum staying with you for support when hubby away all week. You take it easy, you want to be fit for hubby's birthday celebrations.
Take care sending hugs xx

That's funny, my dog, Goldie was calling to me at 2am to go out for a wee!!
Can't believe it's your hubby's birthday already, it seemed ages away when you were talking about it before.

Donna you look amazing in that dress! Are you doing any running now?

Well done on the 100%'s girls!!

I really don't know if I'll go back to work. It depends on lots of factors. Such as OHs pay rise, the new mortgage and bills. We will be totally debt free when we move house and get inheritance and I'll have a space for all my crafting stuff so I get back on eB*y and make some money.

I don't want to go back because I don't want miss Millie growing up :-(

Aghhh its so hard!! Whilst we are having plastering and painting done we are staying at my mum and dads! This means not very healthy food. Need to try and keep focussed.

What do you work at again Nikki? Could you go part time? It's very hard to leave them especially when Millie is still so young. I am stay at home mum and while I do love being here for my kids it can get lonely. If I could work part time it'd be great but there isn't a lot of employment around where I work and I'd have to drive an hour each was to a big town. You do need to weigh up the financial side of it. We can survive on my hubby's wages because we have no mortgage and while we are not well off we do ok and the kids are so much happier to have me at home.

I work for a stonemasons who are part of Nottinghams biggest family run funeral company and there really isnt any chance I can go back part time :( part time would be ideal and i would love to do 3 days a week. Its the same place my mum works so its nice to see her daily. I think once we have paid off money we owe from rich was made redundant then we should be ok.

Another thing that gobbles my money is our car. Its 0% finance but its still £130 a month and then £30 a month petrol but OH has a van through work so we really do need the car. After looking at mortgages on the new house I think we will be paying around the same each month which is great but its just the fact the house is so much bigger and it doesnt have a combi boiler so i'm worried our gas/electric/water bills will all go up!

To put Millie in child care will cost over £600 a month and I just personally think that is a ridiculous amount of money to pay someone else for looking after your baby. She is such a mummys girl as well that I would be scared of her being upset if I left her :( and she is a very feed on demand baby and doesnt like afternoon naps because she is so lively and I dont want her to be forced to do things she doesnt want.

Need to look into everything financially first and think I have to tell work by the end of December.

Im still waiting on some responses from the unis I have applied too and I would love to have all responses in before I make a decision because if i dont get on any of the courses then I will go back to work and then we will probably start trying for baby number 2 this time next year and I would like to to a course to help me get on the nursing course I want to do.

Crickey, I never thought I would have a 6 month old baby, planning moving into a new house, deciding whether to go back to work and applying for a nursing degree all at the same time! x

Can you not do all your own cooking at you mum and dads Nikki x Sent from my GT-N8010 using MiniMins.com mobile app

I do tend to to be fair and last night I said I would give her money for food whilst we stay here but she said she wouldn't take it! So I think I'll go out and buy a few bits when I get paid tomorrow :)

I'm going on a wine free 2 weeks from tomorrow, as I think tonight we are going out.

Also, scales have dropped back to 10st 10.75 :-D

Its great that you have yoir mum helping kim

Thanks ladies, no I haven't run for a while with my breathing being all over the place, but want to get back into it, its gard with the cold dark nights though.
