Hello, I used to post in this thread a few years ago. I reached target then life got busy with stuff and the time I got to come on here became less and less. Ive never gone more than a few lbs out of target in all that time though 
but now Im back. Ive struggled to shift my xmas weight so thought Id turn to sw once again as I know the plan, all be it very rusty now and know it does work if followed correctly. Im just doing it from home this time. Weighed in at 9.11 3/4 this morning feel disgusting!!!! Id love to lose a stone (defo got a stone worth of belly fat) but if I could get to 9stone for summer that would be fab. xx

Just had a mushroom omelette for brekkie!!
Trying very hard to ignore the jelly sweets in the cupboard from Xmas!!
I`m afraid I gave in last night and had three :cry:
Going to my U3A meeting today so need to make some sarnies to take with me.
That way I`m not tempted to buy something out. I`m subscribing to the
January Money Challenge thread so it wouldn`t be good if I gave in

I hope you get everything sorted with the vicar Donna. I know its hard to go and talk to them because I have to deal with them on a daily basis at work and 99% of them are absolute a holes! Had many an argument with them.
I went out for lunch yesterday with my sister to a place we are thinking of having the wedding. Never been before and OMG I was in awe! It was so lovely and so I went to get a brochure and 30 minutes later I had my quote in my hand. All of the dates I wanted were available and so after having a chat last night we have decided on Sunday 30th August 2015. Taking Rich tomorrow night to see if he likes it and im calling today to check there is a registrar available on that date too and hopefully will be paying the deposit tomorrow. So excited!!!
On the diet front, on a tuesday after a few blow out days from weigh in I am usually knocking 10st 9lb and then it all comes off by WI but today I am 10st 5lb so i'm hoping a few on plan days I can get more than a 0.25lb loss on Friday!! Supposed to be out for dinner on friday which is ok because they do a lot of meats and jacket potatoes but then its centre parcs on Monday too so I dont know what day weigh in will be next week.

Whats the harm jn 3 jellies Annette....thats what syns are for! If you went over your syns yesterday, just cut back today or over the week. Just have 1 or 2 jellies a day and finish them off and then you're not tempted.
I always take food with me when I go out....... I know whats in them so saving syns etc. and also if you're on an economy drive, which I think we all are these days, so much cheaper to take your own.

It's called woodborough hall and if you type into a search engine "woodborough hall wedding photos" there are lots of pictures of weddings. It's has an orangery where the wedding would take place and you can upgrade all sorts of things right up to 10days before and we can do a lot of our decorations to our taste. Very excited to start getting everything in place!

Jus had a look Nikki......wow wee looks absolutely gorgeous. Looks as tho you can have plenty of people there cos the main wedding breakfast room looks quite large. Will you be staying there the night before and on the wedding night? What colour scheme are you going with? Whats the dress going to be like?
Donna.......how are you getting on as it all sounds a bit stressful with churches/vicars etc? Have you thought about dresses etc?

We have the night of the wedding included in the cost and I think I'll see about booking the night before but as that will be a Saturday night if there is another wedding we may not be able too and it's £150 a night so I might see about staying in another hotel the night before.
We have about 65 adults for the day and 100 for night but we can change the amounts of people. Which is good incase anyone has a baby, or gets a boyfriend/girlfriend. We could have had December but rich said he would prefer summer which is perfect because then we could go straight on honeymoon!
Had some rubbish nights sleep recently because as I get into bed I'm just thinking about all these wedding ideas and can't switch off!

It's the University of the Third Age.
For those of us "older" folks but young in thinking.
Not really a proper university as there's no qualifications. More like a social club with varioys activities and interest groups.
Today is my family history group. Tomorrow it's singing and next Thursday is the monthly meeting for all groups.
Hubs is part of the Transport group (boys playing with trains & buses!) and the heritage group.
Everything from line dancing to egyptoligy & everything in between!
I usually expect folks to know!

You don't have to be a certain age, just not in full time employment. Part timers are fine.
Hubs is ok at the mo, thanks. This helps keep his brain active. They reckon it's due to his hydrocephalus. No more operations. Just regular visits to the Memory Clinic. He also has narrowing of the arteries - 3 more tablets!
No doubt more visits to cardiology!
BTW I'm 53 since you asked!
