Maybe you lost in inches instead? Dont give up Im sure you will lose soon!
 
Feeling extremelly depressed...put on 2.5lbs :cry: Having a bit of a disaster at the minute and cant seem to stop eating all the wrong things. Thinking that there is definately no way Im going to reach my target for July :sigh:

Don't worry hun I'm not either and I have been 100% I can't loose even half a pound!! I think I'm going to have to leave slimming world :( cry!!!

Oh no :eek: Dont leave! I sometimes dont lose even if I have been really good - I normally find my body is a week behind! Keep with it and Im sure you start to see losses :)

Aw, not to worry hun! I had a gain last week (more than you!!) and then lost 6.5 this week! Easy on, easy off! You can do it :bunnydance:

Come on hun, you can do it. Go back to the roots and trust the plan (well, for me that's doing red and green :p but whatever suits)
Act like you've never heard of slimming world, read, plan, eat, live, :) Trust yourself hun, if you think you need another plan - by all means go for it.

But I will say this, i felt like this about a month ago.. after losing 2 stone my losses had slowed to 1/2lb or I was getting a sts.. my weigh ins would be something like this

-1
+1.5
sts
-2 etc etc
and I was sick of it.. so I tried slim fast for a while. I went out and purchased all the shakes and bars, and I religiously stuck to the slim fast diet for a week, literally just eating shakes, a bar and a 500 calorie meal. I was SO hungry and I only lost a pound!

At least with slimming world (weight watchers, rc etc) you can EAT normal food and only lose a pound!
A STS is NOT that bad, yes you are disappointed, but not as disappointed as you would have been had you had a gain. I can guarantee.
Stick to the plan this week, up your water, write things down and you should have a loss.

Have you tried jigging the plan a little? My diary can be quite repetitive so my c has already warned me that I need to be aware that should my losses slow down I need to change. For example I have toast 6 days a week for breakfast, I have jacket potato 2-3 times a week for lunch and I like the same sort of meals spaghetti Bol, chilli, etc. I think at the moment I'm getting away with it coz my body is still in shock at having proper food but eventually it'll stop and I will have to dig myself out of my rut.

Me too Baby-Belle :( Official weigh in is tomorrow morning, but I caved and jumped on this morning expecting a reasonable result only to find I haven't lost an ounce despite following the plan to the letter for a week............... go figure :confused:
 
Thanks for the support girlies, I enjoy slimming world so that's why I'm so upset really, I will perceiver for another week or two and then decide as I can't sts anymore. I have to re read my book and might plan some meals on red for a try
 
I agree with Baby-belle, I'd love to stay on SW as it is so easy to follow. But there's not a lot of point in being on a weight loss programme if you're not actually losing any weight!

I'll try another full week and if I still don't shift a few pounds at least, then it's off to Lighter Life for me - I am just borderline with a BMI of 30.1.................
 
The plan does work guys, there is lots of proof of that around. Like Elaine says go back to basics, try some new recipes shake your A and B choices up, up the water. We ALL have these bad times, it's how you deal with them that counts, I've been through this numerous times and I can't tell you how relieved I've been a few weeks later when the weight has started moving again....just think if I'd have given up, I'd be back at square one. Whatever you decide to do, I wish you luck, everyone cares and wants you to do well. ;)
 
It's been six months for me :( I know it does work I lost 1.5 stone slowly last year and have kept it off just can't shift this I really want it to work I love sw. I will re read the books and make a plan and try with the water

Have you tried changing which plan your on? Eg. if you do EE try red and green, if on red and green try EE. Or doing a big change in what your eating. I know many of us are guilty of eating the same things pretty much every week.

I have been "mixing & matching" from the beginning of this week. I must admit I prefer EE partly as I find it hard to use up all 4 of my HExs on Red/Green and also as find it easier not to think in terms of "meat fests" or "veggie days".

So far, it's not made a blind bit of difference, but I will give it a good full week from Friday and see.........

Thanks for the words of encouragement (that includes everyone!), it is so easy to get down when you are trying so hard and nowt is happening :sigh:

Was just talking to my daughter who had 8 weeks of STS and prior to that had 5 weeks of 1lb losses ...but then last week and this week lost 8lb and 2lb and she says, don't only change your food, she did that and it didn't really make any difference, but also dramatically up your water and change your exercise ...she went from doing weights,power walking and hours spent at the gym to aquarobics and kick boxing...maybe that might help,just an idea x
 
Hydration's not a problem for me - I already drink 2-3 litres a day at least!

My exercise is power walking an enthusiastic Doberman up and down the hills of Wales twice a day (at least 45-60 minutes each walk) which I can't change otherwise she'll be stir-crazy in 48 hours! I also do a YMCA toning DVD (not that you can see the muscle under the flab - but I know it's there!), but that doesn't really burn calories.

I am starting the 30 day shred video on Monday - some have had fab results with this, others not - so we shall see.....

Thanks for sharing your daughter's experiences Lily. I think I'm doing everything pretty much right already - perhaps I'll be like your daughter and it will just drop off me all of a sudden (says Annya with fingers firmly crossed!).
