Anyone wish they were weighed in the morning?

How I wish I was weighed in the mornings!!! I am always around 5 pounds lighter in the morning than at 7pm. It's frustrating because when I want to celebrate getting under 10 stone, I'll probably have to wait another month or so for it to be official - ha ha!!

SO fellow SW'ers..... What do you class as your 'true' weight? Morning or evening? Would love to hear your responses!!! Xxxxxxxx
 
Hi sophieanne, my group is a lunchtime one, so I always weigh in about 12.30pm. I am also heavier at night, but so long as yr weight is going down nicely you will soon get there. :)
 
I do! Just wish i could get it over with lol i tend to plan my foods etc on wi day, so no big lunches etc, i know i shouldnt but cant help it! Tends to be hifi lights, soup n bit if fruit lol if i changed now would muck up my losses x
 
I do to some extent, but not really, I hate waiting to go get weighed, but the fact that you weigh less in the morning doesn't bother me, because I'd rather know I was being weighed at my heaviest rather then weighing first thing and then thinking I was lighter then what I was during the day (I'm less likely to get weighed at the doctors and weigh more then what I think I weigh)
 
I weigh in first thing on a Sunday morning and have to say I prefer it simply because In my opinion it's your true weight...it's not influenced by if you've had a heavy meal or a bottle of water. In the end though it really makes no difference, those who weigh in the morning know their weight will go up a few pounds over the course of the day and similarly evening weighed know their weight will go down a few pounds over night.
 
I weigh at home first thing Monday mornings and I think It's the most accurate but OH weighs in the evening. I've never been to class but I think I'd be worried to eat on WI day as I normally put on around 3lb during the day
 
i weigh in the evening too at 7.30pm, i think id rather weigh in the morning so that i could get it over with lol, but at the same time its the only time i leave the house on my own so an hour or so in the evening is nice :) im not too bothered about the fluctulating weight thing as i only weigh at group and as long as i show a loss im happy lol :) xXx
 
Meeeee!!! I'd love to be weighed in the morning. My weight is much more stable then. I react to sooooo many foods so I know by 8pm when I get weighed I'm often several pounds heavier. But it varies so much that I can WI with a good loss that I KNOW isn't real weight it's just looking like that as i was more bloated the week before!! If I WI in the morning the results are more consistent.
 
I used to go to an evening group and would literally starve myself all day and then come home and eat whatever wasnt naled down.....

I now weigh in at 9.30 on a Tuesday morning and have a hi fi for breakfast during class and then eat normally for the rest of the day. I obviously much prefer this lol.
 
I think if you just eat as normal when u have an evening class is better. I weigh in. At 5:30 on a wednesday and I am at work all day there's no way I couldn't eat all that time!! Have a normal breakfast, then I will have salads and mugshots, jacket potatoes and beans for lunch and then I don't have time for dinner before weigh in so I just have it at 7 when I come home. The best is to just eat normal! Its still gonna be accurate as its the same time every week. I think I only weigh a couple of pounds lighter on a morning lol if I go to the docs its on a morning and I'm not that much lighter when the nurse weighs me
 
I try to eat normally on WI day but my class is at 7 and hubby gets in at half 6 so I either gobble and run to class feeling stuffed or I wait till I get back and treat myself to a Hifi while I'm there!! My DD comes along with me and she's a bit of a Hifi fanatic lol
 
im weird- i always seem to do better getting weighed at 5pm than in the morning or at lunchtime!

i prefer to weigh in the evening- even though it would be nice to get it over and done with earlier!!
 
Thanks for all your replies :) its been interesting to read everyone's different takes on this. I suppose my reason for preferring my morning weight is that I have a goal in mind. I didn't care about my start weight or how many pounds I lose, I just want to be 'x' stones and my evening WI just adds another month to reach that point :-D It's all fun though and I must admit that I LOVE going to SW club - I always look forward to it :)
 
i completed my journey doing wi in evening at 5.30....then moved to a morning class....and now im back in the eve class(still at target).

whilst i prefer the morning wi because i dont get hungry i actually do better in the evening wi!!

i dont starve myself...i have a normal breakfast of whatever i fancy,a mid morn snack of fruit if i need and then lunch...admitedly i keep lunch light(mugshot and fruit kind of thing).i have my last food and drink(lunch) around 1pm....sips of drink only after that until wi at 5.
i tend to find be doing this i return to the weight i was first thing in the morning by wi....sometimes even 0.5lb lighter!

i return from class then motivated and apart from the odd occasion completely on plan and within syns.....when i used to go to morning classes for a bit id leave unmotivated and with a its wi day lets eat whatever mentality! strange but true!
