Anyone with a lot of weight to loose here? 6 stone plus??

I have to confess brought the 30 day shred and I have not even taken the wrapping off it. I am such a lazy moo I really must start exercising
 
I have friend requested the people I could on my fitness pal my name on there is mkellie12 I hope people dont mind but I am hoping the more people that can keep track of me the more I am likely to stick at it

I don't eat my cals back I have 1500 whether I gym or not. I actually decided to lower my cal intake a bit from yesterday cos I want most of it off by my birthday at end of August and have dicked about a bit last few weeks with events etc. I'm pure back on it now. I'm 3 stone down and that's half way. I'm so proud of myself and I really enjoy exercising. I have a fab personal trainer thru the gym and he really gets me going and fills me with loads of enthusiasm. Shame I still ate around 2000 cals yesterday due to a kids party picking and drinking 2 cans of strawberry and lime cider :/!!!

Proper ready to get started now, did some gym training yesterday, only for a short time, but it made me regales just how much I've missed it! DVD tonight for me!
Well done Baby_Cakes - its amazing how quickly the exercise bug bites isn't it - I had an odd day yesterday and didn't get on the wii - was gagging to get on it this morning!
I never thought I'd ever say this but I really enjoy th gym. Good thing about exercise is it shows u how much u actually have to do to work off even just little treats and sometimes it's just not worth it!! 15 mins on cross trainer for a two finger kit Kat??!! No thanks!!!
LadyJo - I wish I loved the gym - i just found it so boring - I guess I one of those that needs a buddy. So understand where you are coming from re Kit Kat lol!

Hi could I join you guys as well please I started my diet on Monday so that will br my weigh day I was 17st 10.5lb and I would like to get down to 11 stone. I am going to try and do it in small chunks as nearly 7 stone to lose seems to be so daunting. Looking forward to getting to know you all
Hi Kellie - course you can - will add you to Role Cole shortly - what day is your weigh day? Just look at it as 7lbs at a time - we are a happy little bunch - so don't be afraid to ask questions or vent or cry - that's why we are all here xxx
 
3 stone loss is amazing well done I so wish I liked exercise as I constantly start something then go once or twice then give up but I know it does speed things up so I might have to try again I am just such a lazy moo its untrue but reading about all the exercise that you guys do I must start something
 
Thank you donna weigh in day will be Monday as that's when I started so it makes sense and also if I have it Monday it might encourage me to be good over the weekend as thats normally when I am at my worst

Thanks Kellie - its been quite easy ok - been a few moments but I have got myself back on track and not used it as an excuse to stuff my piggy face! If you do balls up - just look at it as one day in seven or one meal in 21 - it will give you the reality check you need. Have you got a special occasions coming up or did you just decide its the right time for you to diet? I have loads of reasons - I should say I'm doing it for me (which I am) and my kids (I am) but the motivation was the thought of bikini in August and skinny sister and sis in law lol!

Take each day as it comes, keep on Minimins - if I can't get on for a couple of days I start to lapse

Thank you donna weigh in day will be Monday as that's when I started so it makes sense and also if I have it Monday it might encourage me to be good over the weekend as thats normally when I am at my worst
Right all added - if you find the weekend is a bit naughty and then you sts at weigh in - move your weigh in day to Friday or Saturday morning - you can then save a few calories each day to make up for the over-cals during the weekend x
 
I have joined minimins today I have 6.5. Stones to lose. I have been with slimming world since July however due to ill health I am now 7lb heavier than when I started. I am now going in the right directions had have lost weigh consistently for the last 3 weeks

Welcome Psy_dove79 - you've come to the right place! We are all in the same boat and this is a lovely group and growing daily!
Will you be calorie counting and what day do you weigh in?
I would recommend you open a diary - keeping it daily helps keep you focused and motivated - also you'll get lots of support from everyone else x

Hey ladies and welcome all newbies

Im a bit peed off i decided to have a sneaky look on scales and apparently Ive put on 7lb it just isnt possible. I have been good yesterday was onky day i went over. I Dont know if scales are on blink as they give different readings. Should i get new ones??? The only thing i can rationalise with is yesterday had some pretty salty food and also white bread which Dont normally eat and didnt drink my usualy 2lt in evening so i think maybe Im retaining water!

Any advice?

Hang in there chick I'm sure it's just fluid That'll be gone in a few days
