    Deciding!!!
    After 30 years of a 20 a day habit I quit 109 days ago.

I actually didn't quit, we were flying back from England to Canada, and I knew that I was going to have to be smoke free, due to non smoking flights and terminals, for about 16 hours , so the trick for me was just not to start smoking again.

I found that nicotine chewing gum was my best friend during the first month or two, I was as panic stricken to be caught out without my gum, as I had been to be short of my smokes.

Good luck with giving up, I never thought that I would be able to, but I'm hanging in there so far.
