So I have been bugging one of my collegues for months to make one of her homemade cakes.
Assumed she had forgot as I had forgot but then she had just brought in a triple layer coffee and walnut cake!!!!!!

I have not had cake since starting SW and will treat myself to a small slice and I was not going to syn it but I don't want to get into bad habits so I know that 28g of a non branded coffee and walnut cake is 6 syns so I am going to allow 8.5 (not sure why) this will keep me well within my syn limit.
What do you think? is 8.5 enough?

That's exactly what I would do, but you're going to have to make sure you have about 28grms as you could be way out with the syns.

I always count my syns even if I just have 1, they all add up:rolleyes:

BTW it sounds yummy, enjoy the cake & be happy with yourself knowing you have enough syns to have a piece:D

Just tiny word of warning - make sure your slice is teeny tiny if your only counting 8.5 syns. Only because I know that a slice of the lemon drizzle cake is costas is a whopping 28 syns!! I know it is a decent wedge, but maybe a good guideline?

It was a tiny slice and she didn't put alot of cream icing on..... But it was amazing.... Might add a few more syns and gonna increase the exercise.... All worth it though. Thats the thing with home made, if your not cooking it, you just don't know whats gone in.... Unless I quiz her about all the ingredients :)
