Asda bargains - any tips?

Im off on my weekly shop to Asda
Any thing you ladies ( and men) recommend to add zing to my weekly plan?
I have the chickpea dahl on the list already

I get the pineapple sticks @ 3 for £1 - easier to manage than cutting up a whole pineapple!

I read somewhere that the asda lamb shanks in mint gravy are free? is it true?

Well i know the aldi in red wine and morrisons in red wine and rosemary are free - im not sure about the asda though

batchelors pasta n sauce are on offer in asda, cant go wrong with asda's chickpea dahl too!! I usually grab some hartleys sugar free jelly crystals while im there too only half a syn for a sachet and a nice dessert not adding much zing!! but good storecupboard essentials

Sorry not much zing, but batchelors noodles are 5 for £2 and i also buy lots of the garden gang bags of sliced apple etc 3 for £1. theyre just handy to have in fridge if your on the go, not very exciting sorry! xxx
