What are the differences between the 2 diets?
Has anyone tried both? I was pretty certain that I would start on Atkins & a friend gave me the Idiot proof dieting book & now I am wondering what the difference is?
Is it just that they took the best bits from several low carb diets & made a book out of it...

    Confused...

there is not alot of difference really but you are allowed nuts in induction and not jelly until the 2nd week they advise to stick to 20 -30 g carbs per day x

    Thanks guys...

Did a food shop online last night & have stocked up with everything I need for my Atkins induction so going to start on thursday! I've been doing Juddd for the past week one day of low carb shakes & the next day I've been trying to keep it low carb!

Enjoying the idiots proof to dieting book & some of the recipes sound delish! So I shall continue to read that to keep me motivated while starting out on Atkins!

Its really hard to get over the low fat mentality as thats what I've always been told I need to do to lose weight & I think its actually where all my troubles began!

    xx

I remember Bex trying this diet.

It's low carb, but doesn't seem quite so strict as atkins.

Does anyone know what a 'cup' measure in Atkins equates to in grams? Don't want to over estimate my vegetable allowance on induction.
    Thanks.x

Really does depend on what is in the cup.

Broccoli etc would be about 70g I would say.
