Welcome Jaybee --

I am in your position. I lost 5 st in 2008, have regained about 2.5 and am (after many false starts) back at it.

I just finished my second week of SSing -- and lost about 3 pounds this week. Since the first week is usually mostly gylcogen and water -- I feel that I have finally made a dent in the reagain.

I know it is likely to take me until Late March or even April to reach goal. But, as I was overweight for 13 years before finally SSing to a bmi of 22.5 -- at least I started back before I reached Obese again (just barely, though). Now, I am well into being "merely overweight", LOL.

I am so hoping to see a "healthy" bmi by Valentines Day! I'll still be a stone from goal -- but at least I will not technically be overweight!

Good Luck -- Glad you have your head in the game. Consider joining some of the challenges going... you can jump in at any time. Just adjust your goal to the time left on the challenge.

Welcome back... I did the same. In fairness to you it took 2 years to put 3 stone back on, I managed that feat in the last 9 months. AAAAGH.

Good luck with the restart. It seemed to easy looking back, but restarts are the worst. They should be easier as you know you can do it, but I think you have to try harder.
