When I went to slimming world a while ago (2004!). they thought bananas affected losses as those who had eaten a few in the week remained the same or had little loss. Has anyone come across this? what do you think?
It might depend on how many 'a few' is! A large banana can have a hundred calories and also contains fat and carbohydrate. There's nothing beyond the science which would mysteriously cause weight gain.
my sw consultant said alot of people are 'afraid' of bananas and htey should not affect weight loss. i have one a day and do not nor have not had any bad effects
I sometimes have 2 bananas/day. 1 sliced with my cerials in the morning and another 1 as a snack in between meals. I don't think there is any harm in eating more then 1/day. But everybody is different
