Bars !

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone else experience a really upset tummy when having bars ?
I love the taste etc.. but they make me have terrible grumbly tummy pains, and have to rush to the loo ( dont mean to be graffic ) :sigh:
Whats in them that does this, are they covered in Ex-lax, lol

anyone else having the same probs ?

This is quite common when you first have bars, but it's not usually an ongoing problem - phew. :p

Yeah I had that hehe! It's definitely much better now though and I'm on week 4. I try to save them for the evening though...just in case! x

I have only even had 2 bars, and each time they seem to have the same effect, i think ill steer clear from them in the future..
but i love the taste, especially the cranberry one,

They are very high in fibre apparently, so can cause wind, upset tummy and dy..um diori...um loose poo :D

I once gorged on 5 bars in one day...needless to say I never did that again :giggle:

Dont have them at all now, I stick to shakes only :rolleyes:

I think the bars are the next best thing to treat constipation.. lol
I dont like the grumbly, gurgly feeling tho, ! then all of a sudden you have to do a 10 second sprint to the loo.. lol
I will stay away from them..

I experienced this when i started the bars. The first day was very bad. But by the end of the week i was ok. I think you just have to let your body get used to the bars. You also have to drink a glass of water with the bars, i think i read this on the wrapper. Maybe that will help abit.

It does get better :) xx

I had the opposite problem - the bar only stayed in my tummy for about 20 minutes before, well, :sick0019:




Haven't ever DARED touch them again!!!!!!

Try cutting your bars in half and eating them at different times of the day. Always eat with a drink, as you are not using fluid to make them up like you do the sachets.
