WELL DONE on the half stone loss! xxx

Hi well done on your great weight loss - I also do SW at home and I think club 10 is about losing 10& of body weight and then it is just a really healthy start - if you go to class I believe you get a reward/sticker. Keep going!!!!

Hey, welcome and congratulations!! A wedding is such a good motivator - I lost 3 stone on SW for mine a few years ago. However, 2 babies on and I'm back again!!

I'm quite happy to pay £4.50 for my sanity and therapy LOL. It's a lot cheaper than going to see a psych. TBH, going to class each week keeps me on track. I need that day of reckoning each week. I need to be answserable to someone other than myself. We have a good laugh at our class on a Tuesday morning.. it's somewhere I can socialise without worrying what other people are thinking about me and my size.

Some people can stick to the plan without class, and I envy them, but if you're getting dispondent, maybe a few sessions in class would give you some encouragement.

Well had a shaky week last week and put on 1lb but another week and another 3lbs off! I'm really happy because I am only 5lbs away from my mini goal of 1 stone so that rocks.
My Christmas target is 8 weeks away and I need to lose 19lbs. I think I can achieve it if I really stick to it a do a bit more exercise. I don't mind too much if I don't hit it but it would be a good start before the Christmas food intake! Loads of people said that I may aswell start the diet after Christmas but then I would have just put on more weight and have to lose more. At least this way I can get down to it and hey, if I lose 2 stone before Christmas and put on 10lbs then at least I would still have lost 18lbs! I might have put on more weight in the run up to Christmas and been worse off!
So all in all things are going good and I even got a couple of comments at work saying that I looked like I lost weight!

I was speaking to my Stepmum the other day and her and my Dad recently got back from a 2 week holiday in Dubai and she put on 10lbs! Is it just me or is that a lot?? She said that it was because she ate mostly soup and bread. I went on holiday to Dominican Republic last year and although I didn't weigh myself, I can't imagine I put on that much or anything. As it was all-inclusive I found that I ate lots of fresh fruit and didn't really go for the hot food. Then there's all of the swimming and walking around and I even went to gym about 3 times!

How is everyone else with losing weight on holiday??

Well done on getting another 3 pounds off :D

My Christmas goal was to lose 2 stone. I've lost 18 pounds of that so far, so I'm on target too.

You are so right about starting SW before Christmas... and at least, if you do have a gain, you've already lost so much more. It might even make you think about what you're eating over Christmas and you won't gain ;)

Well done and keep up the good work.

Oh my gosh! I went into work the other day and one of the guys asked if I had lost weight. I replied that I had and he said that he could see it in my face!
I saw my mum at the weekend and spoke to her yesterday and she said she could see it in my face too!! Whoop whoop!
That really keeps me motivated and the fact that I am only 5lbs from a stone keeps me going!. I think I'll take some more pics and post them at each stone.
I bought the SW Curry recipe book and the food is amazing! I took the idea from my mum to batch cook a load of stuff and put them in foil containers in the freezer.
I cooked the Beef Kofta last night and it was amazing! Got 3 portions to put in the freezer as a ready meal! The best bit about it? IT'S FREE ON ORIGINAL! I was feeling really guilty eating it because it tasted so amazing!
At the moment I have about 8 portions of Beef Madras cooking which is also free on original.

Definately worth the effort if you are like me and sometimes cannot be bothered to cook. On a Saturday just cook a big batch, put in foil (takeaway) containers and freeze! Perfect free ready meal.
If you like curries you really should get this book!

Anglecake, I just noticed that we want to lose the same amount of weight! You're ahead of me a little, when did you start?

Hi I started at the beginning of September - hope it going well for you. Sorry not replied before - not been overly focussed. But back now!!:)
