Been struggling tonight

    All night just been thinking about chocolate and cakes and stuff :(

    Have gone to bed in order to stop thinking about it.

    Do these mental cravings ever really stop?

    They did for me after a couple of weeks. I really wanted cake and bread in those first days it drove me mad and I nearly gave up.

    Luckily though I really dont crave anything at all now

    I was sat in the office today while everyone had their regular friday lunchtime fish and chips. Before I would have been first in the queue but to be honest the smell of them turned my stomach today.

    I can even sit next to my partner while he eats cake and it doesnt bother me. It's not willpower I just dont fancy it anymore I'd rather have a juicy steak :D:D

    I have no idea why though must be the power of the mind lol :D

    the craving does surpass...go make a cinnamon MIM and double cream if its that bad, that will satisfy ya im tellin ya!!!!

    If you crave chocolate the atkins bars are really cocoa-ey and are very satisfying, try the choc decacence or the choc orange they're both really nice and like Missy said if you're craving cake go make a MIM or a choc MIM with whipped cream on.

    how do i make these MIMs? where can u get the atkins bars from? internet? feeling better this morn anyway guys thanks xx

    My Boots sell the Atkins bars and the cracker bread thingies. I second the bars, although I have a major sweet tooth, after day 4 I could only manage a 1/4 of a bar as it was too sweet!

    I personally like the choc chip daybreak bars for breakfast.

    I struggle every day... our house has loads of treats and goodies so it can be real hard to resist. Sometimes I don't and cave in. You can see when that heppened by my sig :eek: BUT it's a lesson for me to learn and I'm trying to work out when this happens. Which was my TOTM that time. So I think I'll get some of those Atkins bars for "emergencies"

    i have a stack of atkins bars. its strange but i never realy was a choccie person but on atkins if i have to have it then i HAVE to have it. so the atkins bars sort my fix out :D

    It takes a while for your body to adjust Lizzy, the cravings will go away eventually love.
