BinkyBonk needs to lose weight...

Hope you are feeling better & enjoyed your lie in this morning, good luck for weigh in! X

I just replied on waffles too re your injury - you poor thing. Good luck for weigh in this morning. You really deserve a good number and would give you a nice boost I think. Everything crossed for you :)

I stayed the same again, I don't understand how it is taking me so long to lose and what I am doing wrong, getting a bit frustrated as it doesn't seem to matter whether I have a healthy week or bad week, I am staying the same x x

I had a look at your MFP and based on that I *think* you should have lost just over half a pound. I calculated your BMR on MFP using your height and weight and I think it's around 1500. I added your exercise that you logged into MFP and then deducted your food (did 6 days as nothing logged on Saturday) and the deficit is 2140 calories. You need 3500 to lose a pound. Now that wouldn't factor in any extra walking you did that you didn't log into MFP but presumably you captured most of it.

I honestly don't think there's anything wrong with losing half a pound a week. I know you stayed the same this week, but it means next week you should see a pound loss I expect. It's 11 weeks til Christmas so at this pace you should lose half a stone.

Most diets say you shouldn't drop below 1200 (although I do as it's only temporary and I'm too impatient to lose weight slowly). So you could restrict the days where you're closer to 1800 a bit. But don't be disheartened I think the mathematics of this make sense in terms of your deficit vs your losses and as I said, nothing wrong with it coming off slowly.

Pls don't be down hon - you're usually so sunny :)

Oh no poor binks hope you manage to feel better today, sometimes we have days like that where everything seems awful but I promise you will feel better soon x
I'm not sure why you've sts again, it must be really frustrating, maybe you're losing inches though instead of weight? Might be an idea to measure xxx

oh gosh - just realised I've posted your MFP stats on here for all to see! I know most days you update exercise / calories on here so hopefully haven't put anything up that's sensitive. I can take it down if you don't want it - so sorry!

You are so lovely for doing that x

I think I just need to be more focused but I worked two long days this week where I always eat more and had a day off plan so I guess a STS isn't too bad, I just feel like it is taking forever the last few weeks x x

Hopefully I will be closer by Christmas x x

I will try not to focus on that and just keep going to get my cheer back :)

Are you having a nice day so far x

good girl - it WILL come off, just don't pressure yourself. If you don't lose a pound next week I'll eat some cake :) I believe in the mathematics of weight loss and it will happen for you as you do have a deficit (well I would, I'm a mathematician!!)

Day ok so far - very quiet. Did 500 cals in the gym so that was a good start and not hungry. Second day of my low call 5:2 days. I actually find it easier eating 500-600 calories on those 2 days then 1000 cals on the other 3 days. Going to the gym again tonight for Core class. Desperately want those abs - took a picture the other day and I think I can see them. Would post it but there's a lot of flesh on display lol! :)

Worried about my weigh in tomorrow ...... eek

Our bodies can be a pain in the butt!! One of the weeks I stayed the same I really hadn't done anything differently from the week after when I lost 3lbs!! Just keep doing what you are doing and it will come good. Slow & steady can be frustrating but it's definitely the best way I reckon! x

You do so well with your exercise, I need to start my Leslie walks again soon as they were helping the loss x

Lol, am sure you will get there as you are so determined x x

You will be fine, you got strait back on it so should see a loss x

Great post and agree with it all - when I lost most of my weight a few years ago I did the last stone between 12 and 1300 and this is why I did it this time between the same number of calories as I know it worked for me.
Quite honestly I think that sometimes you do over estimate the number of calories you use when you walk - I have checked my mileage against yours and mine are nowhere as many cals used for basically the same miles - keep it under estimated rather than over then you have cals to play with.
You are now in your healthy BMI so stop being so hard on yourself - you are fine and the rest will come off as Blondcat said - half a pound is half a pound. Someone posted a pound of fat pic on my facebook page - have you seen what a pound of fat looks like - if you have not seen the pic I will post it for you and you will be surprised. :)

This is 1lb - click on it to see the proper size :) <img src="http://www.minimins.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=155726"/>

I love this pic, I've seen it quite a few times but it never fails to make me stop and think!!! x

yeah me too - it's a great pic. None of us should ever get tired of seeing that!

Have had a nice warm shower and am about to go for a walk in the sunshine to work so feeling much more binky like :)

yay binky back in the house :)
