birds eye fish fingers

This may be a daft question but...........................The Syn value of Birds Eye Fish fingers is 2 syns each but if I took the breadcrumbs off and just eat the white fish would they be syn free? What do you think?

I think probably not as the breadcrumbs contain fat, some of which is likely to be absorbed into the fish whilst cooking, maybe if you could take them off before cooking? but thats quite a task!! best stick to plain old cod fillets!

I would probably say that they would be syn free, or negligable if the breadcrumbs were removed, because even fish in batter from a fish and chip shop is regarded as syn free if the batter was removed.

ive asked my sw leader bout this and they are free with all the breadcrumbs removed too much effort tho x x

Thanks I didn't realise fish from the fish shop with batter removed was free could you have the mushy peas from the fish shop for free as well?
