I've got a rescue dog,we walk hour a day when I'm at work and up to 2hrs at the weekend,you wonder what you did before you got one .

He is so cute. Thanks a million for that advice its a great idea to bring him away from house to go for walk. I have been just carrying him and walking around the path from our gate to our front door and he seems nervous of the cars going past outside the gate. He spent his first 10 weeks on a farm so he would not be used to the sound of road traffic xx

Yeah miles and miles!!! I use an extending lead if we go off somewhere open. He likes jumping in our local boating lake....only to his knees mind you!!! But he learnt to swim in the paddling pool last week He was VERY nervous at leaving the house at first and still hates traffic. He's still at an age where he wants to wrestle every other dog we see....or swan.....or random child......LOL I think he enjoys walkies now. But if we walk from home I still have to get the kids to run up the road in front of us lol. He follows them then!!

I love the grin on that pooches chops!!!

The vet was very happy with how Toto is doing he had his booster injection but it will be 48 hours before he can walk outside of garden. Many fun times ahead xxx

We took him for his 1st walk he was very nervous so we carried him most of the way up to my mothers then we let him run around my mothers garden he loved it then we carried him part of the way home and walked a little bit to xx we will bring him out again later for a while xx hes so cute xx

I love dogs!! Have 2 westies and a little Maltese pup!! Deffinately keep me on my toes, they are rascals at times but I would be lost without them! Dogs are great company!

Westies are fab little dogs, such characters! We always had them at home as children. Jacks dad was a westie. I love these pooch pics-makes me feel all broody! X
