Fry some onions and the beef, add some tomato puree, then add the passata. Add some dried herbs like basil and oregano, a teaspoon of sugar or sweetner, beef stock cube, S&P. I also add a splash of worcs sauce, some paprika and grated carrots/peas. Simmer :)
