boo!

    not sure if i have been missed by others but mike messaged me the other day so think i should explain

    yes i have had a 2 very bad weeks with the cd but i am here i am back and i'm ready to carry on.....

    i went to cdc today to get a weigh so we knew where i had to 'start' from and would you believe i have LOST 1 lb eventho i havent even done it!

    i am sure i will see some add on next week but you dont realise how shocked i was as i went as i KNEW i had put a stone on!!

    Well you can't have been that bad if you still lost. I know it's hard and we all slip up every now and again, you're doing so well and just think how good you'll feel when the weight keeps coming off. Remember how supportive everyone on this site is and come on here if you're feeling like you want to eat.

    I wondered where u'd gone - Cos we started around the same time...and bith WI on Saturdays, I've been looking out for your results but could never find u :rolleyes:

    Hi Louisa,

    You know it does help to post even on the rough days and those days when you have a slip or a blip, because someone I find always seems to come out with the right thing that helps to stop the slip from turning into a slide.

    If we all posted just when we were in great form and doing well...it would give a false impression of just how hard it can be at times and this alone would set so many dieters up for failure on their first bad day.

    I do think it helps to share the ups and downs as it builds empathy.

    I know full well how uncomfortable it is to come and post when the diet is not going good and I have had more than my fair share of slips and slides and even now if it happens I do feel crap and want to hide from everyone that I am not doing it as well as I want.

    But what I have learned over this last year is that if you keep going and trying you do get your head back in the right place again where it does feel once again like you are sailing along with the wind behind you.

    I am so happy to see you back posting and of course you were missed...your on the Christmas Challenge Chart and as I scroll up and down it each time I am updating I see your picture there.

    Hi Louisa :) I started on 19th August as well....that's why we're 'twins' ;) yesterday was MY 7th WI too....maybe I confused you all with the way I've done my signature !!!

    I am now into week 8 .......I think :confused: I;m all confused now - lol !!!
