Just found yummy recipe but wanted to check first can we use beef bovril if not what can we use instead x

If we use bovril or oxo they are supposed to be fat free. I use Oxo cubes in stews that will feed 4-6 people so I ingore that rule

Hmmm - why? It doesn't look any different than lowfat beef bouillon.

I don't see what's wrong with Oxo - the book specifies bouillon cubes for several recipes.
