Buffet meals

A friend is hosting a Eurovision party asking people to bring food from different European countries for a buffet meal.

This is my first week on WW and I'm terrified that I will go mad as I'm not sure of PP values for things. I'm veggie so other than just eating plain salad how can I limit the damage?

I've thought of eating a meal before going so I won't eat there, but this is so not realistic and I'll just end up eating two dinners!

I suspect all the food will be cheese, carbs etc...Help!

Hi, not long doing pp myself, but what would you normally eat for lunch/snack? Take a fruit salad for dessert and something that you would have yourself perhaps?
You shouldn't avoid nights out/social events as they are a part of everyday life. Just work your weekly points around them.

If you do go a bit mad, up your activity for a day or 2.

Thanks for ideas. I might take your advice and bring something pp friendly and just have that. A pasta salad or something. That way I don't feel as though I'm different but won't go too far off track! Thanks! X
